Read more MIRIO Intermediate-A Electric Violin: MIRIO electric-violin provides violinists of all levels with the ability to practice confidently without disturbing others. Though the acoustic sound produced is barely a whisper, with headphones you will hear yourself in the rich, virtual environment of a resonant concert hall. The intermediate electric violins have adjusting capabilities for volume and mixed voice Differences among the Kinglos electric violins of "Intermediate", "Advanced" and "Advanced 3-band- EQ": The main difference between the Intermediate and Advanced is in sound pickup, the pickup's effect and sensitivity of Advanced series are better than Intermediate's. Compared with Intermediate and Advanced series, the handicraft of Advanced 3-band-EQ is more complex and costs more expensive. The Advanced 3-band-EQ also has adjusting capabilities for high pitch, bass and mixed voice; while the Intermediate and Advanced can only adjust volume and mixed voice. Read more Details About MIRIO Electric Violin Adjustment Fine Tuners The function of the fine adjustment knob is to help the violinist to make parts for tuning.Firstly, loosen the fine adjustment knob, and then adjust the violin neck knob to about 10 cents lower than the standard tone. Press the top knob to fix the pitch, then gently Tighten the fine adjustment knob until the pitch is exactly positioned. It is recommended to adjust AD first and then adjust GE How to Keep Strings in Tune Push the pegs inward as you tune the strings up to pitch. This ensures that the pegs hold tighter as the tension of the string goes up. If this does not work, use peg compound to help lock the pegs in place. You can also apply chalk (or rosin cake) onto the pegs where it is inserted into the peg box.To avoid snapping a string while placing the bridge, loosen the strings slightly. You loosen violin strings by turning the tuning knobs on the end of the violin. Strings should be loose enough that you can easily pull them up and down, allowing them to be lifted up enough to slip bridge under the strings. Octagonal Violin Bow Ebony frog bow with unbleached Mongolian horsehair, natural and tough. The new bow is not able to sound, you need to rub the rosin powder to have a sound. The bow is a relatively fragile accessory. If it is used improperly, the bow of the bow will break or partially fall off. Read more How to choose violin sizes Violins are available in 8 different sizes: 4/4 (also called full size), 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/10, 1/16 and 1/32. All adults use the size 4/4 violin. To measure what size violin best suits you, measure the length between your neck and the middle of your left-hand palm (when your hand is fully extended and raised perpendicular to your body, just like holding a violin). Most of the teachers prefer students to use the length from the neck to the wrist for measurement instead of the neck to mid-palm approach. The violin size determined by the neck/wrist approach would be the size that is more comfortable for students to hold. The violin size determined by the neck/mid-palm approach would be the biggest size students should use. If you have a teacher, ask for their recommendation. If you don't, we would recommend using the neck/wrist approach for students not using full size; for students who are deciding whether to use size 3/4 or 4/4, use the neck/mid-palm approach. Read more Notes: Just like all of other new violins, you may need to retune strings first few times when you start to play. When cleaning, please using soft cloth to clean the body and strings, and loose the hair of the bow after playing. In order to not damage the violin when shipping, the bridge may be under the fine tuners with a white paper package. You can put the bridge on the right place just like our pictures showed before you retune the strings. How to keep strings in tune: push the pegs inward as you tune the strings up to pitch. This ensures that the pegs hold tighter as the tension of the string goes up. If it does not work, use peg compound to help lock the pegs in place. You can also apply chalk (or rosin cake) onto the pegs where it is inserted into the peg box. • perfect if you don't mind spending an extra $30
Color: black
Bought this violin so as to not disturb others while playing. It is not silent by no means but way quieter than an acoustic violin. The bow was tight from the moment I got it. Even though the hairs were tight there were several that were lose. The rosin is very very dusty. It had a cracked peg which broke when I restrung it. I never used the strings it came with...so I don't know how they sound. The items I replaced: bow, strings, rosin, pegs...minus the bow everything else was an additional $30. oh and I had my own headphones. It plays great for what any beginner to mid level players could ask for. I have hooked it up to a multi-effect guitar pedal (zoom g1x four) and wow this thing can sing! A friend of mine picked it up and started playing Schindler list with some reverb and it sounded pretty close to a classic violin in a concert hall. I would buy it again for a beginner to practice and not cause the dogs to howl. With the ability add pedals it can keep someone happy for a few years. ... show more

  • not beginner friendly AT ALL
Color: black2
ordered this because my daughter wanted to learn how to play. Figured a nice cheap electric one where she could practice using headphones would be great. Not so much. None of us has ever had violin so when it said beginners we thought well at least she can make noise. It came it it looks amazing, has a really nice case. The headphones are cheap cheap crap. The bow had a lot of loose strings and there was absolutely no instructions what so ever. Tried googling help and found out how to place this wooden bit that comes with it but after trying and trying and trying we couldn't get it to make any kind of sound. We tried different headphones, different batteries nothing we tried worked. I called the "amazon expert" she was no help at all either. In the end we sent it back. ... show more

  • Everyone is happy
Color: white
Great violin, I only have to annoy myself when I'm practicing now. The only thing wrong is the fact that it came with the battery inside and powered on. The battery was dead and I had to order 9v so I could use it. So, grab some extra 9v batteries when you purchase.

  • Beware of the bridge
Color: black1
It’s really pretty but they send it with the bridge not intact. It is hard to tune because the bridge keeps collapsing! I’m going to get some super glue and also change the strings which are super low quality. But once the bridge is in place and I change the strings, it will play awesome!

Color: black
Es una buena opción para disfrutar y pasarla bien, bello diseño... La calidad del sonido es aceptable, pudiendo llegar a ser deficiente. No lo recomiendo para profesionales.
