My husband has worn Minnetonka slippers since 1990 when we lived in Minnesota and they were made in Minnetonka, MN. He loves them and this is his 3rd pair of this style. They last several years but you will eventually wear through the bottoms. But for the comfort, he would buy no other slipper.

First pair of moccasins I ever owned and now I can’t go back. After a couple months my posture actually improved from walking like God intended without an inch or two of foam beneath my feet. I have size 12.5 feet and the 12s somehow slipped on easily but also staid snug on my feet while walking. Magic. I was afraid they’d chew my feet up while I wore them in but that never happened. I was using these as outdoor shoes. In the country they can get a little wet in the dew, and the city concrete wore them out fast with the concrete and asphalt (holes in the ball of the feet area after about 4 months of regular use). They can be a little slippery on smooth flooring but not to a point that caused alarm. Those are literally the only downsides. Now I want another pair. Waiting on the manufacturer to tell me if the other leathers are more durable (I’m not interested in hard sole). If not, I suspect I’ll just keep buying this model. $65 is not bad I think for shoes that your feet loves. ... show more
