The media could not be loaded. Since I’m doing all kinds of projects, I have lots of tools, big and small. It fills like there is never enough storage space for them. I’m also getting tired of having to spend too much time searching for the right one that I can’t recall where it was located last time I used it. So I’m desperately trying to organize things and coming across this little tool box made me super excited. Right away I felt like that’s the answer to some of my tool organizing efforts and ordered it. Once the box arrived, I was even mire impressed at the level of quality it was made with. There were no even slightest scratches or paint chips. Instead, it was covered with a thick durable protective finish and looked like it has just been prepped for showcasing to please the most demanding customers. I also found the color scheme and the logo very pleasing. Although the box has a perfectly flat bottom and sits without rocking on my flat workbench, there are four small rubber legs with self adhering base included in the package. That is very nice and gives me more options. All drawers are moving in/out smoothly without issues and do not fall out - another huge plus for me. There is also anti slip/scratch lining piece inside each drawer. The lining is not glued in and can be removed easily if so desired. However, I like the material and will keep mine in, do not feel like it needs to be replaced with anything different. Another thing I liked is the larger bottom drawer, in case I need to put there something thicker than the rest of the stuff. Finally, the too of the box has a plastic so could be used for placing more stuff on top without scratching and sliding around. I feel like these boxes could be easily stacked up if more storage space is needed. Taking into account the quality and pleasing appearance of the box, I tend to agree with the description statement that it can also be used for storing jewelry and other small things, not just tools. In fact, my wife liked the box too and asked me if I really needed it for my tools. I sure do and took time to fell it with my most often used tools and gages, before she grubbed it. Well, might now have to order more of these. I made a quick video showing the box and placing a few common items to let you gage the size of what could fit there, just for reference. I then ended up placing there more cutters (similar to X-Acto), marking knives, dovetail jigs, my favorite tweezers, micro screwdrivers (sadly they didn’t have a case of their own), tips for my drop indicator, and more smaller tools and gages. I didn’t expect they would all fit in just one of these boxes. So, the only thing I can complain about here is that I still have more small stuff I need a place to store in organized manner. Well, back to my point of ordering more of these boxes. If you have a similar problem, here is a great solution for you. Just make sure to order more than one and you won’t regret, I promise you! ... show more

This popped up and I immediately got out a ruler... I already had a "Top Cabinet" like this and was hoping that it was the same size as this lower chest - and it is! So now I have the "stack" and will expand the "Kit" to include more of the smaller tools and items that get used frequently on my bench - I use a lot of tools that are designed to work with an interchangeable handle and the individual blades fit perfectly in the thinner drawers - Nut driver blades up to 1/2" fit easily. I do wish that the drawers pulled out a little further but I've gotten used to that using my top cabinet for many years. Any hesitation in how the drawers slide is easily improved with a little silicone spray - its not a precision drawer slide but they are very functional Yes it would be really cool if they had miniature casters on the bottom, miniature ball bearing full extension drawer slides and were "completely scale models" but I'm sure that wouldn't make them more affordable. As quirky as these are, I've been using my existing one for over 10 years and its a functional tool chest for small tools. It could also hold pocket knives or art supplies or any combination of things - These are solid little boxes that look cool and are well made but can be completely legit tool boxes - not just decorations - ... show more

    • Perfect for my watch tools!

My Son had a good laugh when he saw my "tool box" as I have several large tool boxes that are full. This is not for the workshop, yes it is very small but perfect for my watch tools and repair items. All that stuff is small and fits perfectly in the box. So why only four stars? Well first it is a little expensive for what it is and while it is well made there is one problem, the pulls on the front for opening the draws and very sharp on the edges/corners. I had to take a warding file and smooth these corners down top and bottom. You should not have to do this any price. The draws could slide a little easier as well, maybe have to see if I can grease them a little bit and finally it would also be nice if they slid out a little bit more, possibly another half in inch would be perfect. This toolbox is extremely tiny. It's for tiny tools and things. You won't get a hammer in it unless that hammer is very miniature. Having said that, it's very heavy and sturdy and made of good metal. It can be good to use as a very small toolbox to mostly hold screws, nuts, bolts and nails ... maybe a pair of pliers. It can also be used for other things, such as a jewelry box or to hold miscellaneous small items (rubber bands, paper clips, pens and pencils, etc.). Company claims the ball bearing slides offer a smooth operation of the drawers. It does not. There is too often a struggle opening and closing the drawers. If there are ball bearings in it, they are not set right ... at least on the one sent to me. Pricewise: Not a good deal. ... show more
