I bought this for the ability to use in my classroom and connect with Bluetooth. This project requires you to connect your device through its projector WiFi even if you use an hdmi cable, which means you cannot project internet based screens through the device. This is basically useless for a classroom and I’m not sure how anyone would utilize this, and had a completely inadequate description of it’s function. ... show more

    • This projector was way better than Kodak Luma 150
The media could not be loaded. I bought this and the Luma 150 (which was like $170 more) and the picture quality and settings on this are way better. Returned the other one and kept this. Its bigger and clearly made a little cheaper but it works great. I use it with an Amazon Fire Stick and plug the USB right back into the unit. The only draw is the huge power cord and the watts draw, but my Van has good power so its not really an issue. It does pull 80-90 watts AC though so be aware if that is an issue. The screencasting works well and the focus dial is huge so its easy to use. Just note that you will need a fire stick to use NETFLIX/PRIME etc due to copyright screencast rules.     • Works for what I needed it for
Overall, I love this projector but I rated it a 4 because of how much time I had to troubleshoot to figure out how everything works. I do love that is came with the all the cords you need except for the usb cord, since you have to have one compatible to your phone. This is compatible with my iphone. I had a lightening to hdmi adapter so I used that to connect my phone, but all methods they list work. I saw some people in the reviews had issues connecting, plus the instructions didn’t completely seem clear. For “Bluetooth” you have to go to the wifi selection on your phone and select the projector then cast/airplay from your phone. Plugging in with the usb cord you have to make sure you get the prompt to “trust device” and if it goes away before you can select it just unplug the cord from the projector and try again. With the HDMI option it connected to my phone and automatically casted my device. Now, if you are hoping to cast shows from different streaming apps make sure you read their fine print because due to copyright issues some shows can not be air played/casted. I ran into that issue and learned it’s not the projector just the streaming services copyright stuff. ... show more

Well so far it works with my android phone alil laggy with shadow PC was gonna try my PC next but can't right now it was like at max strength sound an blasted really loud when I went to play a video and I couldn't mute it an lower the sound had to have it unmuted and lowering it while blasting so heads up there. Startled me lol. It is kind of noisy (the fans) and It took me a minute to realize I could adjust the lense so it's less blurry at different placements but it def works. I also was able to connect my mini PC to it with just the HDMI cable and navigating to the option for HDMI on the menu ... show more
