This is an absolutely great casserole dish. It's all glass and has a good lid that fits it just right. You can use it in the oven. It's really nice. I would definitely recommend this casserole dish.

The glass casserole dish comes well boxed and protected, and is of a good weight. It does not feel like it will break easily. Being clear glass, you can see the beautiful meal you have prepared, and watch for overcooking on the edges. No burnt sides if you treat it right. The top and bottom line up nicely and have built in handles that give you a grasping place but don’t stick out like crazy. And did you notice? You can bake a hot dish and a pie with just one casserole. (Or make a refrigerator pie and keep the house cool.) Leftovers can be stored in place, saving some cleanup. It seems to be priced similarly to other glass casseroles, but keep in mind that you can get use out of the lid as a second baking dish if you care to. ... show more
