I bought the colors Alluring and Ruby. I'm pale skinned with neutral undertones. Both look really nice on me but Ruby is my favorite. Alluring is a bit darker and has more brown tone whereas ruby has a slight touch of purple and isn't clown-like bright but still a touch brighter. My lips don't feel dried out with this product like they usually do with lipstick. Would highly recommend this product! And these colors for someone with skin like mine where it's hard to wear lipstick without looking like a clown. ... show more

So I love Mineral Fusion lipsticks, despite the conflicting reviews. They have great colors, are moisturizing, wear well during a day, are safe for those with gluten allergies, and worth the expense. I’ve been using their makeup on & off for several years. Im trying to get spring ready and am working on finding the perfect pink/ coral mix. I use to love the color Orgasm by NARS, but am no longer able to use it. INSPIRE is closer to what I am going for. Although I did just order Crush. So I’ll do a comparison once I receive it. The color is very attractive. Works well with my skin tone, which is fair with a yellow undertone. I did a test on my wrist with a comparison of colors. But it’s deceptive. And hard to see what those lipsticks truly look like. They appear very sheer in the image but are actually not. Inspire is a medium pink with a coral/ orange undertone. It would probably look attractive on most skin tones. A good neutral that can be topped with gloss if needed.. Not overly bright. I'm such a fan of Mineral Fusion lipsticks! I started with "nude" last autumn, then wore "ruby" all summer. I wanted something a little more subdued for late summer and autumn. I find "alluring" to be my favorite. It's a beautiful dusty dark pink on me, goes on nice and matte, and is very moisturizing like all MF lipsticks. My beau likes the smell :-) I agree with others... would like to see these shades on actual skin tones for online shopping. I hope this helps. ... show more

So pretty, exactly what I was looking for! At first I thought it was too sheer but once it sets on your lips I found it to have a very natural finish. Lasts a long time and is very comfortable.. Like matte but not drying kind of like a satin I guess. It's beautiful for everyday!!

I have been in the process of transitioning away from traditional makeup products and their iffy ingredients. I liked this one because it was EWG certified. I love the color (I chose the color Alluring)! In general, I am not a fan of bright hues and this is natural, but still adds a subtle pop of color. I did not find it very moisturizing, but I have also lived most of my life in lip gloss, so I haven't used enough traditional lipstick to compare. I pat a little lip balm over the top of the color for some sheen and it works great. It has moderate staying power. I would buy this again! ... show more

I love this lipstick. I ordered Gem. It glides on smoothly. It’s rated 1 on EWG!!! I timed it and it stayed on for 3 hours with one application. I just love this product. Also it doesn’t make your teeth look yellow. It does not have a yellow hue ❤️ Great price great product!

I had a Mineral Fusion Lipstick in Gem tone and it was the absolute best color I've ever had. A blue-toned red, rich red, but not too much for pale skin. It was my favorite lipstick ever. I ordered this Mineral Fusion Lipstick in Gem tone to replace my other one. This color is completely different! It's a lighter red, and instead of the nice blue-undertones that worked so well, this has orangey-gold undertones. It's really, really disappointing. I don't know if the company changed formulas or what, but this color is not the same as the one I had bought in a store months ago. The one I bought in a store also seemed much more moisturizing. It went on very smooth and felt soft and not dry at all. This one is a bit drier, does not go on as smoothly, and certainly doesn't look or feel as moisturizing. Very disappointing. ... show more

This lipstick has a feel that is somehow dry and oily at the same time, probably due to the mineral powder fighting with the moisturizing ingredients. That doesn't sound good, but it's not actually uncomfortable, stays on, and isn't sticky, although I find I need to blot it. I blot most lipsticks, however. I bought this in Ruby and Peony. I am reviewing Ruby here. I thought it was a pretty pinky-red shade, and it is, but it is a bit dull. It has slightly greyish undertones (I have olive skin). If you subscribe to the four seasons theory of colour, I'm pretty sure it is a summer lipstick, whereas I am a winter. It is quite pretty, but I find it a little dull on me. The one real issue I have with this lipstick is its scent. It's very strong and not all that pleasant. I don't think it smells as if it has gone bad or anything. It is just heavily scented with a sort of chemical smell I don't like. Worse even than L'Oreal. Otherwise, it comes in a pretty metallic tube that feels heavy and "expensive".
