First of all, so glad there's progressive reading glasses. That's what I wear all day, every day. I have 20/20 for far sight, but everything gets gradually blurrier starting at about 10 feet away. I've taken to just wearing glasses all the time. It's just easier. I've paid hundreds at optical places for glasses that do the same as these. That said, these are VERY lightweight. I don't think they will last years-no glasses do. And the photochromatic feature is VERY slight. Not enough to consider them sunglasses when outdoors. They are sold as men's glasses, but they look fine on me. I did have to adjust them, but that was easy because they are so lightweight. All in all, they do what they say they do and for the price it's nice to have an extra pair around. ... show more

Very cheap construction. Don't expect them to last long. Good because they are way cheaper than the optometrist would have charged Bad because they are very cheap made and won't last long

I recently had cataract surgery so I only need reading glasses and sunglasses. Visually these look great and work great for distance and reading. I had brandname Transition glasses before, so I was familiar with the photochromatic feature. The darkening was similar to the brand name lenses, both fast enough and dark enough. Some reviewers said they don't get dark enough but I disagree. The quality of construction appears to be good, just take good care of them. I also bought similar glasses form LJIMI, and they also worked well. The LJIMI lenses are slightly larger, and they are frameless, so they appear to be more flimsy. I have a bunch of bi-focal sunglasses. They all do the job. Way better then switching between sunglasses & bifocals. Or wearing sunglasses over bifocals. But these glasses are better than the prescription glasses I use. It must be premium plastic or glass they use for the lens. I see great in these. Note, they don't get as dark as I would like but work for what I use them for. (Driving in car, etc.) If they did get darker (like a sunglass) they would be "Perfect" Phil I. ... show more

Very hard to find Progressive and Transition lenses. Progressive to 0 at the top. Perfect for "after cataract surgery" and everyday use. I haven't found anything that can match these, especially for the price. Wish there were more options, style, size, etc. I'm going to buy a spare pair though. Highly recommended! ... show more
