    • Works well, few quirks
One would think that one would drop their phone less if it cost more. This has not been my experience with my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. As a matter of fact, I dropped my phone on the corner of a scale, cracked the screen, and it prompted me to buy this screen protector as the film type ones only keep your screen from getting scratched. I read the reviews, I heeded thw warnings, I watched the video, and I screwed up... kind of... The reviews suggested letting things sit for longer. That does seem to be helpful than counting Mississippis. The mounting bracket did crack in one spot because I didn't get the adhesive off the sides before I cured it (not terrible and I'm sure the vendor would send a replacement if I asked, I didn't). The adhesive is not "permanent glue". It comes off really easy with the wet wipe and microfiber cloth they give you to clean your phone. I only had an issue with the adhesive if I use my fingers, the wipe and cloth made it come off easily. Did the adhesive drip over the sides and get into stuff? Yes, because I touched the screen protector trying to get the bubbles out because I'm not a trusting person I guess. They specifically tell you not to touch it or the adhesive will drip at that point. I didn't use the black ramp thingy the first time (not sure if that caused any issues, but it didn't seem to). I made sure everything was super level by adding slips of paper u til the bubble looked like it was dead center. I gently clunker the "hammer" onto the fingerprint area, then waited. If you wait a little longer than suggested the bubbles should be out. Then I cured it with the UV light. The UV light doesn't fit well over the little bumper case. It kind of sits awkwardly on top of the edges. I cured it vertically, then cured it horizontally (you know... just in case). Then popped the phone out of the bumper, pulled the tiny piece that had broken off, and then tried feverishly to get the adhesive off with my nails. Once I got tired of that (got tied real quick) I grabbed the wet wipe and the microfiber cloth and any remaining adhesive came off MUCH easier. I'm on my second screen protector and I think I've had them about a month, having just replaced the first one the other day. There was a tiny chip and I wanted to know if it went all the way down to my screen or not. Pulled the screen protector off, it had spider web cracks as I was pulling it off (this as not the case prior to pulling it off) and my screen was perfectly intact! Whew! Also, no residue on my screen from the adhesive. I quickly went and put the second on, since I clearly cannot hold my phone for long without dropping it. This time I didn't wait before curing it. I have some bubbles, but they are only annoying to look at, they don't cause any issues with the fingerprint reader (which I did not have to redo after I put on the second protector). The screen protector will only come off of you start picking at it, or if you didn't get the adhesive all the way around it. Thw fingerprint reader is amazing! Not one problem with it. ... show more

    • Really Wanted To Like It
This is the first time I've tried a screen protector of this type with the liquid adhesive and the UV curing light. The installation is complicated, but I watched the video and read all the instructions and I didn't really have any problems with the installation itself. The seller's customer service is also excellent. Unfortunately, I only know that because their quality control is terrible. The issue is with the actual screen protectors. By that, I mean the pieces of glass that you'll be attaching to your phone. The problem with them is the protective backing, or the lack of a protective backing to be more accurate. There is a small sticker on the top right corner of the screen protector that you have to remove before installation. This sticker *should* be attached to a clear film that peels off when you remove the sticker. On my first installation, there was no protective film - just a sticker. When I pulled it off, it left a bunch of adhesive behind. This made the screen protector useless and I couldn't use it. So I tried another one. Same thing. This time, a little less adhesive was left behind, so I went ahead and used it. You could see it in the top right corner of the screen after the completed installation and it kind of bothered me. I messaged the seller about this and they sent me a complete new kit. That was pretty awesome since I only had one screen protector left. New kit arrived two days later and I pulled off the screen protector that was on my phone with the flaw due to the adhesive. Grabbed the last protector from the first kit and tried again. Once again, no protective film and too much adhesive left on the glass to use it. Opened the new box and grabbed another protector and this one had the film and no adhesive was left behind on the glass. I was happy. Unfortunately, I messed up on the install and didn't clean up the overspill of glue before curing. I ended up having to try chipping away at the cured glue at the bottom of the phone's screen. It didn't go well and the screen protector ended up coming off. That left two screen protectors. I tried another one and this one had no protective film and there was adhesive left on the glass after I removed the sticker. I used it anyway and that's what's on my phone now. You can see where the sticker was peeled off on the finished install, but I'll live with it until it drives me completely crazy since I now only have one left. I will say that the screen looks great other than that adhesive left behind from the sticker and the fingerprint sensor works fine. I appreciate the fact that the seller was so responsive after my first complaint, but they just ended up sending me more bad product. They're so close to being good, but their quality control issues make it impossible for me to recommend this. ... show more
