The fit is great but the compression not so much. -The compression is a light to medium compression. Which isn’t bad if that’s all you need. -They value is great, 3 pairs for the price you can’t beat. -They are comfortable If compression was firmer it would be 5/5 stars

    • Pocket has a top flap to keep things from falling out.
This is an important: Most of the other offerings have the pocket lower on the thigh (which can be nice, because it's not competing with the flexing of your hips), but do NOT have a flap. I use these pants to teach yoga, and record my classes on a device in my pocket (either audio directly to an iPhone or to a wireless transmitter. While the positioning of the pocket does connect a little bit with my posture changes, it's better there than down the thigh - less exposed wire, more reliable. And the pocket flap-top is critical when doing anything "lively" - inversions, cardio, etc. I tried a variety of other brands (looking for more variety in color and style) but none work as well as these. I also like the fabric blend. I like a lower spandex ratio - 8% is ideal. Too much spandex and it adds to fatigue. I'm right between a medium and a large. Either would have worked for me. I opted for the large (just in case I add a few pounds every now and again...) and I'm very happy. I returned all the other choices. Product fits well, and the light fabric does not make me too warm during gym workouts. When worn under jeans, a nice alternative to long johns.
