Elegant actually means "simple", and this is a very elegant vase. The winejar shape is classic and understated, very present but not garish, not calling attention. Fired and glazed clay in a rustic and very "homey" manner, it can move effortlessly across Mediterranean, French Cottage, Country Craft, or Boho "Shabby-Chic" design. The soft cobalt into white is almost universal in appeal and aesthetic, finding a place in kitchen, bedroom, livingroom, or even bathroom. It's your basic go-anywhere vase. Solid and striking, but do handle with care; this vase is not designed for rough treatment. Nor is it intended for liquid - this is a dried/synthetic flower ichiban vase. In a home with rowdy pets and rowdy children, place it out of reach! The glazing on mine was a bit spotty and rough-brushed at the bottom (white portion) of the vase, but I don't mind this as I feel it adds a more handmade, rustic feel that I like. This is a really beautiful vase, but be prepared to send it back a time or two before you get one that isn't broken. The packaging that Amazon does is great, but this thing comes from China in a flimsy thin cardboard box with no padding or protection whatsoever. The whole top half of the first one I got was shattered in a million pieces. Other than that, not much to say. It looks very nice, the colors are good, and the glazing doesn't appear to have any flaws. So, if you like it in the pictures, you'll like it in real life. ... show more

I love this vase. I got one at TJ Maxx and wanted another one for each side of my entertainment center. So excited when I found this online for the same price. The blue is beautiful and fades to white at the bottom. Highly recommend!

First off, the dimensions in the product listing are accurate. It’s a reasonably tall vase. The color is a nice deep blue fading to an eggshell white. The bottom also has three soft pads to prevent scratching your table. I’ll be adding some dried grasses to this. Going to be a great additional to my home. ... show more

The vase is beautiful and well finished. Comes with rubber coasters to not damage your surfaces. It is actually bigger than I expected.

The media could not be loaded. This is SUCH a pretty vase and it was a tiny bit bigger than I expected, which I love. It will be perfect for an accent holding dried flowers, or more creative bouquets with branches, large leaves, etc. The blue shades are beautiful and soothing and the glaze adds light and warmth to this piece. The finish is smooth as can be. As the product page says, it's just over 4.5 pounds, for very sturdy / balanced for putting a larger arrangement with the vase on the floor--not easy to tip over. The only thing that surprised me about this product is that it was shipped just in the box that I unbox from in my video, no other packing materials. I suppose this speaks to its toughness, because it arrived without a scuff or ding. GIFTABLE: perfect housewarming gift, or part of a bundle for a wedding shower or gardener treat backet GREAT VALUE: I've seen vases like this for as much as $60-75 USD in a retail space, and much, much more, but this price is a wonderful value and allows to bundle this with a few items if part of a gift, as mentioned above. ... show more

This modern and stylish vase is larger than I expected. Its height makes an impact in a room. The walls are thin and it is not too heavy. I like that it has 3 tiny cushioned feet so it does not directly touch the surface and scratch it. The only down side is that is is only meant for dry or artificial flowers. It is not supposed to hold liquid. When it arrived I cleaned it lightly with water and soap on the outside and inside. But the liquid inside caused the vase to make a repeating tinging sound for a few days even though I tried to dry it on the inside. This makes me wonder if the water will result in some structural issues in the future. As such I would only wipe the inside lightly with a cloth (or not at all). Do not use any liquid inside at all -even to clean it. ... show more
