I feel like it looks cuter in the pics than it does on me and in person. The tie is kinda awkward because it adds bulk to the front of the dress which is not flattering and there is a gap in the material where you tie it. When I moved the tie to the back of the dress it looked more awkward because the gap was very noticeable and it just looked superfluous. We ordered this for our granddaughter. It is a very beautiful dress. It kind of reminds me of a classic Marilynn Monroe type dress. The material is very satiny and soft. We got the champagne color and it is just so very elegant. I would recommend this dress, it is very pretty and elegant.
