The colors in this powder pigment set are deep and beautiful. It only takes a little scoop to get a metallic look when using them with resin epoxy casting. These have upped my color game with coasters and jewelry I sell at craft fairs. Bravo!

    • Great for nail art!
I've used these for nail art and they are very fine and pigmented. Some of the colors to not match the photo swatches or color names perfectly, for example, pink is definitely rose gold, but they are nice quality.

I've tried chrome powders before. This set is better. The ten jars are packed with pigment. The colors are vibrant, giving a true mirror finish. I've used them with nail polish and epoxy resin. For nails, a little goes a long way. The applicators are handy. With resin, the powder mixed smoothly, creating an even metallic effect. I used it on a tumbler. Cleanup was easy, though the powder gets everywhere. The price for ten colors is reasonable. The jars are small, but you don't need much. I'm happy with the results. ... show more

....These little tubs that are filled with different colored metallic colored pigment powder, are still plentiful and a good deal for the price, given the number of color variations provided in the set. And Additionally due to the sheer volume of powder that can fit into these small tubs. Despite them very much being on the smaller end of the scale as far as its actual physical size goes. It's always very surprising. And additionally very impressive! This is because the powder itself is such a very fine powder, that it lends to the sheer volume of powder that can be fit into these containers. And the colors are beautiful, perfectly metallic looking, and very pigmented in its color. And for all these reasons, I find this to be a fantastic deal and a 5 star product. ... show more

These BALTIC DAY Chrome Powders are definitely one of my favorite products I’ve ordered so far. I wanted to try something new with my nails & this chrome powder can do so many different looks depending on how you use it. It’s pretty versatile & easy to get the hang of & was absolutely beautiful. I was so impressed with how smooth it went on & the shimmer of these metallic powders are just perfect. Plus, you can get the starry, 3D, mirror & bubble effects, shell pattern, water ripple, two-color gradient & French Manicure. It can also be used for arts & crafts. It comes with 10 colors including pink, gold, emerald green, light blue, royal blue, purple, green, silver, turquoise blue & bloody red or mix them together & make your own. The jars are very small but the powder is so fine & dense that just a tiny bit goes a long way. I did have to be extra careful removing the security foam from the tops of the bottles. If you’re not careful, the bottle can spill or the foam will get pushed down into the bottle & the powder sticks to it like glue resulting in loss. I would definitely set it on a flat surface & hold it with one hand if possible to keep it from tipping over especially if you tap it with your nail brush to get extra powder off.     • Steep Learning Curve
My kids wanted this as they're getting into doing nails. Apparently a steep learning curve with this powder in order to get the desired results. I suggest watching several youtube videos to learn how to do it correctly and even after that, it will take some practice to get right. There is a nice color variation included in the set as well as little applicators, but its suggested that you use your finger because you need the "feel" of it to get it right. As far as slime and the other things mentioned, can't say anything on those topics. Get after it and see what you can do with it. I'm sure the options are limitless with this stuff. Probably mix in into some epoxy for jewelry too. Might be a hit. Who knows. For us, its a solid 3 stars as there is little to no direction on how to do any of the things mentioned. Just the powders and the applicators in the box. No instructions on anything. ... show more
