The media could not be loaded. What a great mica set! I’ve seen bad reviews complaining about the amount but the bag. They clearly state that there are 5grams per color. And from experience....if they used smaller bags simply for the purpose of making them look full....you would have a big mess and lose most of the mica. This stuff is very light and can easily fall out. W the larger ziplock you have the room and ability to scoop out small amounts w out losing a ton in the process! I’ve bought 1ounce containers and always end up using too much or spilling. Such a waste! Back to the product....great color selection and w the addition of the interference or “magic” colors woo hoo! I almost spent a fortune buying interference shades in larger quantities before I came across this set. Now I can work w them and see what I like w out wasting money and product. Now, there are some shades that are almost identical (especially in the reds) but I’ll probably use a large jar and put them together. I figured I’d have to do that w this many colors! I’ll post pics of a project or two once I’ve fiddled w them. I have left pics of the set along w a video of the way the interference colors change over light and dark surfaces. These mica’s are really amazing. ESPECIALLY the magic ones. Ive used them in my m&p soap, cp soap, and in my bath bombs and have not been disappointed! For m&p: they will look STUNNING in clear showing off the shimmer. In white, they aren’t as shimmery and if you add too much it will pile onto the bottom. A little goes a long way!!! For cp: the darker colors show super well. As with any lighter color, like white or gold, titanium dioxide is probably needed to make the true color show. As far as dusting goes, these are gorgeous. For bath bombs: i did not use it in the base mix, as i always use liquids since micas tend to make a mess leave a ring. These probably will too. Thats not really the fault of the mica though, since thats just how mica powders work in my experience. I did mix with oil to paint onto the bath bombs. This is where the magical micas truly shine. The color comes out opaque and really shimmery. So if using on bath bombs, know the risk that mica powders hold. They always have a possibility of getting stuck and staining. If you want to avoid that, there are chemicals you can use. But really, these micas are good for any craft. If you want a sampler pack, this is a great one. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I haven't used any yet, waiting on other supplies. I will update my review once I use. I still wanted to provide the info I do have. I weighed at least half the bags and the average was .21 ounces. Some as low as 18 and some at 23 but 21 was average. I did the conversion and math on that. It comes out to 295 grams which is over the 250 they promised. I'm sure the colors look different in use but in the bags theyre beautiful. Some metallic, that I can't wait to use. Not sure what the magical ones are. They look white but it says magical green, violet, etc... so I'm excited to try those as well. Images include lowest, highest, and average weight ... show more

I got these because they were on sale and my interest in trying to make resin jewelry. These fit the bill. They came quickly, and look like the picture, coming in small bags, all labeled for the color. The only issue with having them in small bags like this is that it it is a little more time consuming to close the bag, if you want the air out to help it lay as flat as possible like I do. However, as I got these to see what colors I liked and used most to help me when I want to buy more and can make sure the color is what I think it is. Will definitely recommend this product and will look at buying this product again, or in larger quantities. ... show more

50 colors and not tiny micro bags. These will last a long time. Mixed well with resin. I was looking for solid colors, and this is perfect. A MUST BUY for anyone starting a new hobby with need of mica powder. When I started with resin, I bought lots of fancy powders, which had only a few, so I could never find a color palette I wanted. This is where to start. And of course, lots of pieces for experienced artists. If I ever run out (I'd have to start a business to run out) I will buy again. There are so many, I had to ROYGBIV organize them. And after all the colors, you can always mix them to make new colors. And there are 5 "magic colors." I dont think I could use all of these up if i tried to. They work well on so many projects but you only need a tiny pinch to make a beautiful shimmer so I still have at least 80% of every color left even after months of use. For a very large project like resin coating a table or something you would need multiple of one color or to use multiple colors but they are perfect for all projects smaller than that. Included are some pics of the projects ive used the powder in. The eyes for my dolls look SO nice with some of this dusted on before casting, and you can see the beautiful swirly effect it gave the cabochons I made. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. What I like, at least I should say love about DecorRom mica powder here is that they have a consistency of color that goes a long way as they say. Having tried other colors, I can attest to the want of a specific color and the finding of it lacking immensely. But, with DecorRom powders, in this pack specifically I found every color I could think of, as well as the capacity to mix up my own colors and create unique combinations for endless potential. If you like Resin Art, Soap Making, or even dying other things that I cannot even think of, I highly recommend this product, though there is the caveat that as with all mica powders, they can be a bit dusty and messy. However, in my opinion, that is apart of the product and not a manufacturers issue. ... show more
