I love love love this suit. I love the buckle, the high leg, and color. I wish they made this with the buckle in more color options as I would definitely order all the bright colors. It’s very flattering and snatches your waist for sure. Only complaint is how in the back the material kind of folds as you can see in the pics and you can see the white material and I wish it held my boobs in a little more so there was just a little less side boob. It is either hit or miss for me, many one piece suits are too boxy for me, as I have a longer torso. But I got the XL and am very happy. It is hot, sexy, but not something I would feel uncomfortable to wear to the pool. Us curvier ladies need to represent and deserve to feel sexy too! I have had 3 kids, so ya know the parts that get impacted by that the most. I did not feel self-conscious about any kind of tummy issues, the fabric was nice and held it in we'll. If you are more modest, the backside may not be to your liking. I loved it though. I walked around and it did not feel uncomfortable or that it was slipping and giving me a wedgie. Bought this for an 80s costume and ordered both M and L - for reference I'm 5'4 and 134lbs but have a long torso. The medium fit fine, like a normal one piece, but the L felt tight as soon as I put it on and was super high cut, with my whole hip exposed.
