I wish there were more companies offering scented monomers. This one was a happy surprise. It does still smell like monomer. It is what it is HOWEVER the coffee scent is very present and smells like a coffee candy. Once the monomer cures all that’s left is a delicious coffee scent that lasts for a few days which I would think is a huge draw for most. If my nails can smell like coffee why wouldn’t I want that??? I gave this a 4 because I use this company for my artificial nails in my salon. There is a lot I like about the company, however if you are purchasing this for the coffee smell, you might be disappointed. The smell is slight. The product works the same as usual.

So I’m here to give my review on the Maya secret coffee scented monomer. Upon arrival the package had leaked and is supposed to have had a spill proof cap though I did not spill too much. I was left with roughly about 6 ounces of monomer from an 8 ounce bottle though it will not sway my review. The item work extremely well, but the smell was awful, almost more intense than regular nail monomer. Also, I have got just a little bit on my skin around my thumbs and they have been itching nonstop ... show more

It’s definitely an improvement from the original monomer scent, but still has a strong oder. This monomer does not smell like coffee at all. Only smells like the original monomer. Great product and it works very well, but just be aware that it has a strong monomer oder.
