    • Powder is great. Monomer not so much.
The monomer does not work very well with matching acrylic powder. It sets way too fast. Powder works beautifully with a higher quality monomer.

I just started trying to do my nails a few weeks ago.. I bought tons of gels (madam glam, venalisa etc and they ALL were horrible for long lasting and didn't last more than a day..i tried with both tips and dual forms btw).. I tried this with tips and it's the best thing I ever bought.. It's a must have.. No lifting, breaking or anything.. Although this was my first time ever even touching acrylic in my 30 years of life (I always paid folks to do my nails) .. This was soo easy to use.. It didn't dry immediately so if I had to touch up something even after moving to the next finger I could still go back and try to fix it better.. Only tip I have is to make sure u have everything u need out at once.. Because if your brush sits for a few minutes unused without putting it back in the monomer, it's hard to get the acrylic off your brush once it dries.. (it took a few hairs off my kolinsky alpha brush before I realized I needed to soak my brush in acetone to remove it lol )... I'm honestly mad at myself for not buying this before I bought all those gels that are now just sitting in my drawers - _- .. I will be buying ALL colors that Mia Secret carries.. I’ve been trying to learn how to do my own nails. I spend so much money & time (waiting in line) each month getting them done or corrected professionally. I decided if I could learn to do them myself I’d save tons of money ( as well as time) a year. So I bought a professional nail drill. I bought other various types of acrylic nail powder & liquid claiming to be “professional”. But none worked as well as this! I’m very good at shaping & drilling but I had SO many problems with other products! This product was definitely like what the professionals use. Just the texture- being completely clear as advertised & the ability to shape without reaching the cuticles. I’ve had problems with other products in the past either being too runny or too thick & powdery... causing me great problems with the nail drill- (burning up my cuticles- causing little nicks). I’ve had the best of luck with this. It truly is professional quality. Everyone is shocked when I tell them I did my own nails. They beg me to do theirs- lol, I’m too afraid to do that yet! Also, this is such a large amount of product that it will definitely last a very long time. If a nail chips or breaks or comes off- I can fix it myself. No waiting in line just to get one nail fixed. The quality is ok, the smell is awful! Even with the drops we purchased to help!! Wish we could create something that wasn’t so toxic smelling!
