I was able to test the servo even though I haven't put it in a car permanently yet because I haven't needed to. The servo is definitely on the slower side, but it will be plenty sufficient in 1/24 and 1/18 rc cars. It can easily support the load of a hefty TRX4M with metal weight and large 1.0 wheels in terms of strength. I have never had an out of the box emax servo problem. I returned for another that did work . The servo arm that came with it didn’t seem to fit other emax servo’s .

    • Very strong servo for your SCX24
Really like this combo as it comes with a nice aluminum servo mount to replace the plastic one that is stock. This servo is a nice step up from the stock servo. Comes with everything you need to replace the old servo. Install can take as little as 15 minutes or maybe 30 if its your first time.

First off, this servo does work. Gets into position firmly and relatively quick, with no hesitation. Cannot really speak about the specs, but for an analog servo this seems good so far. The only downside is the level of noise, clear buzzing from the metal gears. Hope it gets better once it breaks-in. ... show more

I have not permanently installed the servo in a car yet, as I haven't needed to yet, however I was able to test it. The servo will certainly be strong enough for 1/24 and 1/18 rc cars, however, it is on the slower side in my opinion. Strength-wise it has no problem managing the weight of a heavy trx4m with brass weights and heavy 1.0 wheels. Definitely worth the money and MEUS brand has been quality for me thus far. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Real strong not very fast but will work great for my purposes Fites the footprint of all the small servos installed in aircraft Comes with a metal servo horn that's a cool addition That mount should come in handy for a custom install
