Purchased with intention of wearing this when I travel or when I take my real diamonds for cleanings, etc. I wore this around the house for maybe an hour before deciding to return it. Beautiful, great value, and sizing is accurate... BUT the way its designed the stones and the prongs on the sides of the main stone cut my other fingers while I was doing basic things like typing. ITEM: Metzakka Sterling Silver Engagement Wedding Rings for Women Rings (Size 8) COMMENTS: I requested this as a ‘test’ ring for style and size and have been wearing it as a daily ring. PROS: - Thing ring is quite lovely in size and construction. I find that the stone is perfectly sized (1.01ct according to the stamp) - I’m not a huge fan of large stones, but this one wears a bit nicer than most for some reason. - I love how the setting has the ring rise up, so there’s an overall slimmer profile; I haven’t had any issue with it catching. - The stone is securely set; I work with my hands frequently and haven’t had any issue with looseness or loss. - Its brilliance is perfect for me; good shine and reflection without being overwhelming. - The size 8 was accurate. - It has not clouded or lost luster with full time wear over the past two weeks, something that has happened within this period with similarly priced rings. NEUTRALS: - The band stones are understated, which I actually like. They’re not very noticeable, but in a good way for me. CONS: - None. PACKAGING/GIFTABILITY: (All of my packages are sent with Prime Delivery Day and manufacter’s packaging preference selected. This may impact how things are shipped and cause my packaging experience to differ from yours.) It came in Amazon shipping packaging (a padded envelope in my case). The ring itself was in a Tiffany blue box, so the presentation was lovely. I would say that it is directly giftable with no gift wrap necessary. WOULD I PURCHASE?: Absolutely, yes. My diamond wedding band is soldered to my halo engagement ring. It's not bulky, but there are definitely times when I don't want to wear my full set, such as when I got this ring to wear when I'm gardening, skiing, biking, swimming, or even if I'm traveling in a sketchy area, any time when my regular rings could get in the way, get really dirty, or if I feel like there's a risk of my rings getting lost or stolen. This ring doesn't look remotely like an engagement ring, but it does look like an elegant wedding band. The Moissanite gems look and sparkle like real diamonds and the white gold plating over 925 silver looks perfect.
