Ive worn out three or four pairs but they are perfect for how I use these slippers. They are the lightest camp shoe for backpacking or stream crossings. Of course it wears out after a few weeks of granite rock but I'm happy to replace at this low cost. I also use it for international travel for the plane and in a hotel getting breakfast or going to the pool. The price was right and these water shoes are comfortable. They feel close to barefoot but with some protection for the soles of my feet to avoid the discomfort of walking on little rocks. I am a size 10 women’s shoe and the 9.5-10.5 fit a wee bit loose but I liked it that way. I do not have a wide foot. Initially I bought these to wear in the chlorinated pool for water aerobics 3 times per week but also use them for kayaking. They give me the firm sole to push into my kayak footer but are lightweight when I need to be in the water porting my kayak through low areas. The chlorine will do a number on these. I just ordered my third pair. I wore these 3-4 hours a week for 5 months plus 3 kayak trips. They do start to get a little fuzzy around the toes where I scrape them on the rough pool floor but the chlorine bleached the piping around the ankle opening and the integrity of the material was compromised. They began to lose their elasticity and stayed stretched. Today the shoes were coming off as I was kicking underwater - but I also had several little holes in my swimsuit - to give you an idea of how heavy the chlorine can be that I expose them too. Mine had an insert of foam-like padding that I could remove for drying or to have more flexibility in the pool but I personally don’t like the texture of the bottom of the shoe with the foam insert. These dry very quickly - usually in a few hours. I can pack them in the morning after being set out in the laundry room for about 12 hours. I’ve ordered another pair. I think 60-70 hours of pool time is well worth the $10. ... show more

These are okay. The main is fairly quick to dry but the fabric around the heal and the opening stay wet. The insoles also don't really fit inside the shoe, so they come out ever time you take them off, I tried to walk around without them but the soles are too thin. The sole is pretty great though, nice grip and textured enough so you won't slide. They aren't narrow at the toe either which is nice, so good for wide feet. I would go up a size though, since there is enough width but not enough height at the toe so they get squished down. ... show more

After 3 days at the beach including sun drying in between the shoes are holding up just fine. They fit really nice and secure without being too tight. Great for walking on the more packed sand by the water. They really made me so so much more comfortable in the water and provided peace of mind to where I wasn't even thinking about what I was stepping in. They're not intended for walking on pavement. Will update with long term review if I ever use them again but I don't go to the beach often. At $10 they'd still be worth it for a one time use to me. ... show more

We purchased these for a trip north to the river. They were very useful. They do take a while to dry. We were able to tube down the river and walk back in these. Lasted the whole week vacation. Probably not recommended for long-term use. For the price they were perfect for a vacation.

To start with an overview of the product, these shoes are quite convenient, they're easily portable(don't take much space at all), have solid bottoms to mitigate damage from stepping on sharp objects, and dry decently quickly, however the shoe is essentially a flat rubber sole held onto the foot by thin fabric. They aren't terribly uncomfortable to wear, but probably not the best option for walking long distances, and they aren't the most comfortable for biking. I purchased these water shoes because the rowing team I participate in practices on the bay and has no dock, so I needed something to protect my feet from the sharp shells and dead fish that cover the shoreline and shallows while walking the boat in. These shoes did quite well on that front, I was able to comfortably walk over all hazards (though I do recommend walking carefully, there isn't much protection on the sides of the shoes, only the soles). In addition, they strap perfectly into rowing shoes and the backs can be pulled up to prevent rubbing, which was rather nice. I'm overall pretty satisfied with these, however I will say that they get sand in them very easily and will track it elsewhere. ... show more
