I ordered the LOCENHU locking metal cabinet for my husband who's been looking for a large, secure storage option for ammunition. The package the cabinet arrived in was quite large and heavy. It took 15 minutes to unbox everything plus another 30 minutes to fully assemble. The cabinet pieces and parts were all metal and were packed well with lots of foam board and protective metal corners. For assembly, only a Philips screwdriver and a flashlight (for lining up the holes) were needed. My husband said that the thin metal of the cabinet and the coarsely threaded screws would have most likely resulted in the screw holes stripping out had he used a power drill. The four shelves are adjustable to within about six inches from the top and bottom. My husband thinks a good hard pull might be all it would take to cause the locking mechanism to fail should someone really want access, so he's looking at beefier options. However, this cabinet does feel sturdy enough to keep out most children. ... show more

This is a really nice, heavy duty metal storage cabinet. It is super sturdy with reinforced corners and shelf racks. The shelves are hefty too and adjustable which is great. It LOCKS!!! This unit is for my hubby to use in his 8th grade classroom where he has had theft issues. He wanted something that could hold all his supplies in one spot with one lock. This makes is easier for him to open/lock up his stuff and also less obvious to the nosey students that he has to lock up his stuff now. It it a pretty heavy box when delivered - +65lbs so definitely have some one with you to help maneuver it into place. Once in his classroom he was able to build it in it's spot by himself. Said it was plenty easy with good directions. The shelves are plenty sturdy to hold boxes of paper and stacks of textbooks. The lock is smooth and solid - the doors do not juggle or open partially - very solid feeling when locked. He loves it and has covered the doors with fun contact paper and can use magnets to display student work - making it fit in unobtrusively in his classroom. Very nice and sturdy unit. ... show more

I recently cleaned out a portion of my shed/workshop, and was looking for something I could use to store my power tools in. The pinnacle of the roof of my shed is open, so it's not uncommon for leaves to blow in. This shelf will keep the leaves and other debris out of all of my tool bags, and I was just barely able to make it fit in my shed. The cabinet itself is sturdy once assembled, but during assembly, you'll want to keep some of the walls from bending until you get it squared up. The included instructions were simple enough to follow, and I had this fully assembled in around 30 minutes. One thing I noticed is that there were 4 metal pieces that were included to protect the corners of the components during shipping. It would have been great if the manufacturer had incorporated these into the cabinet as legs or something. Inserting the shelves was easy, and they are plenty strong to support my bags of power tools. I'm pleased with this shelf and would buy again if I had the space. ... show more

This is a slimline unit that has plenty of storage space. It is great for the garage as it has a lock to keep sharp or toxic items away from little kids. The unit itself is sturdy and relatively easy to put together. It is a great way to quickly organize and secure a garage or storage area.

4 star review, would be 5 star if the bottom was reinforced so i could put wheels on it. Quite sturdy once it's put together, holds quite a bit of weight with no problem . The manual is not very good, however with one trick it's really not bad at all. The key is to look at the step you need to do and then read the step after it prior to doing your step. This will fill in all the information that they should have explained in the step you were attempting. Wasn't difficult to put together, didn't take long at all, only needed a Philips head screwdriver ... show more

Where do I start? 1) Many of the pieces were dented or bent, so I had to straighten them (as best as I could, anyway) to get them to fit together. 2) I had to remove the lock bar because THEY GAVE ME THE WRONG KEYS!!! 3) It's a bit floppy - probably because of issue #1 4) The shelves are not notched, thus there is a gap at the back for small items to inadvertently drop through On the plus side, the instructions were marginally better than those typically supplied with offshore items.
