Just a few days ago, I reviewed some lightweight fencing, the same size, and rated it at five stars. However, THIS fencing has got to be three to four times as heavy and at least twice as strong. Even the black rust resistant paint is more durable than on the other fencing. So, this fencing should get at least an 8-star rating, except that ratings only go to five. The fencing can be laid out in a row, or can form an enclosure or partial enclosure. The stakes that hold it together and hold it in place are strong enough and go deep enough that, wherever you put it, it's not going anywhere. Do you have a Tasmanian Devil that you need to keep kenneled while you run inside for a minute? If there were a lid, and a floor, I have no doubt that this fencing would assure you that your Tasmanian Devil pal would still be grumbling inside when you return. This is strictly outdoor fencing, as the stakes need to go into the ground to make the enclosure secure. It comes with a page of instructions, although installation is self explanatory and super easy. Each panel has sets of loops on either side that the stakes go through. The loops on one side are slightly higher than the loops on the other side. So, when you're assembling, if the loops butt up against each other, then just flip the panel around, and they will line up nicely. BTW, we use these type of panels to create enclosures to keep our 'Tasmanian Devil' from tearing up patches of newly repaired lawn. Lawn repair is constant throughout the year. But these fence panels may also be effective in protecting our garden from rabbits at night time when our devil is sleeping. ... show more

I primarily ordered this fence to deter my tomato-seeking dogs from destroying my garden. I previously installed some similar fencing, along with some hardware cloth, and wanted to get rid of the hardware cloth and continue the fencing. This fencing is very good quality, strong heavyweight metal. The supporting stakes are straight and easy to drive into the ground to secure the fence tightly. The fencing is quite stable when assembled in a circular form, and I imagine it would also be fine on a straight path that did not span a lot of distance on fairly level ground. The lowest bar of the fence touches the ground, so if you install the fence on uneven ground it will affect the evenness of the top edge. Instructions were complete and easy to read. Fencing was easy to install by myself. The only complaint I have is that the spacing between the rungs is large enough to allow small rabbits and other small rodents to get through. Not a huge deal since I got this mostly for dogs, but the picture in the item description shows that it is effective for keeping rabbits out. My previous fencing had closer rung spacing, as noted in the first picture. The red outlined portion is the spacing on THIS fencing, so you can compare the two. This fencing is effective in keeping smaller or non-jumping ninja dogs away from your plants, etc. but I would never trust it to keep dogs enclosed in your yard, which is not really the intended use of this item. I have ordered many, many panels of self-install fencing this last year in order to successfully keep my 48 lb. lab/mix puppy from destroying my garden beds and irrigation lines. In comparison to many of these products, this is an excellent fence. With rings on the side for rods to slide through, it installs in minutes. The wire is a medium weight, well soldered, and the rods are thick, long, and have good sharp points on the bottom. I put this fencing around one of my raised garden beds and it absolutely solves my problem of keeping the dog out of the bed. It also looks like a professionally built fence and I would gladly order more of it. ... show more

I am a bit disappointed in this one. The other fence I have from the same company is simply fantastic. So I thought this would be the same great quality. Sadly I was wrong. My panels are all bent in the middle. As if perhaps something heavy was laid on top not sure but clearly they are bent and I can't bend them back into place. The material is not nearly as strong as I need it to be but it will work ok to extend the other fence panels I have from this company. I do like that these easily fit onto any of the others I have from not just this company but others as well. They are easy to set up which is a feature I like as well. If they were stronger metal than perhaps I would think they are better quailty but honestly i don not think these will hold up as long as my other fence panels. ... show more

This is some very well made fencing. The iron grids are strong and have a black protective coating. I got the 28" by 17.5' package which consists of 8 panels that are 28" by 28"--very user friendly setup as these can be lifted and installed by one person. The panels fit and are held together by iron rods that you hammer into the ground (hammer being the only tool you need). Once completed, the fence panels and rods are all tied together, creating a sturdy border. Now I have small dogs so the height is adequate to contain them--this company sells various sizes and lengths of fencing to accommodate bigger dogs and fence jumpers! They also sell bundled deals; hence, my only advice would be to check these bundles out and get the height and length that you truly need--also the gate is a huge plus if you need one. This fence was easy to install, has a durable finish, and has definitely upgraded the look of my entire yard, making it look clean and finished. I will be buying this again and would give it 10 stars if I could. ... show more
