    • Who really finishes these? LOL!
I tried a different kit (London Bus) a couple years ago and gave up. I remember why. I thought this looked neat with the colored pieces, and I built the LEGO version of the hand and thought this would look great next to it. I am middle aged, great eyesight, no tremors, build and paint plastic models as well. I also build LEGO. After spending an hour just to put on the jewels, having one fly of to infinity when I cut it out, I put this kit down. I have skill, patience, time, tools to do these as there are some really neat kits out there compared to 5 years ago. I still cant, or wont?! do it. I think people lie in these reviews and dont finish either. LOL! ... show more

    • Great puzzle, price & challenge.
I like the item, price and difficulty of this item. It took me 6hrs for 2 days each & I used whatever I have to use as tools. When I had to bend the 4 small jewels I used these small sphere shaped magnets to bend & hold them & it worked great!

I don't understand how this happens with a machined template passing through an assembly line, but three of the fingers just did not line up when assembling. Thus, one finger completely snapped in one place, and the thumb snapped in two places. I was able to salvage the one finger. Not the thumb. Very disappointed. Difficulty is one thing, but the template should be reworked to allow for the pieces to actually fit with more accuracy and less user manipulation. Detail is great. The model was looking amazing, and I was very excited to display on my shelf until this started happening. ... show more
