I am a big fan of labeling - the problem comes when trying to remove a label. These removable labels solve that problem. I've used dissolvable labels in the past and those work well, but if you get them wet at all they start to dissolve and degrade, so I haven't been too happy with that solution. I didn't have my hopes too high about "removable" labels that don't leave any sticky residue, but I was pleasantly surprised. They can quite easily be peeled off and there is zero residue left behind. The package comes with labels in two different sizes - square and rectangular - so you can use them on a variety of different sized products. They are freezer and refrigerator safe, as well as pantry. You can write on them with a dry-erase marker or with a sharpie. With some work, you can erase the sharpie writing with a plain eraser, but honestly I don't have the energy for that - I just peel the sticker off, toss it, and start with a fresh one. However, you can wash a stickered jar or container and the sticker will stay on. This is a win for our family. Labeling and dating food is a great way to reduce waste. ... show more

    • Perfect Solution to Freezer Management
I was so tired of not knowing what was in what container in my freezer. I got these after I thawed a container of what I thought was spaghetti sauce with meatballs that turned out to be a specialty gravy. Aargh. These labels have two big-enough sizes to mark my containers that are single-serve meal types and the larger ones too. There has been no problem with them sticking prior to freezing or unsticking once the container has reached room temperature. The labels do seem to wipe clean better when they are more room temperature than straight out of the freezer. This package of almost 100 labels will last me for a long time. The labels are of a good quality and do not rip when removing them from their backing or from the containers. One more note, I do like that the labels are large enough to include the item name and the date that they entered the freezer. ... show more

This package contains a generous supply of reusable labels in two different sizes—32 1.5-inch square & 64 1x3-inch rectangle. They adhered well and did not fall off in the freezer or fridge. I used a Sharpie to write the contents and date of my food items and the label came off with no difficulty and left no residue on the container. The labels can also be used on pantry storage containers or mason jars to quickly identify the contents and then easily remove the label without damage or residue. Interestingly, I was not able to erase the writing while the label was on the container or package. It seemed like it needed to be on a room temperature surface to effectively erase the writing. It also took a little more effort to erase the ink from a Sharpie than with a dri-erase pen using a paper towel, but either one will come off effortlessly with a dry magic sponge. These labels are easily removable, and don't leave any residue. The listing and packaging both state that you can write on them with pen, marker, or felt tip pen without smudging. I don't have a felt tip to try, but pen never dries and just smudges no matter how long you let it sit. I tried multiple pens. Some would bead up instantly and mostly disappear.
