After much debate between the hard plastic and mesh caddy, I ordered this for my daughter as she heads off to college. The mesh seems like it will be much easier to clean. You can remove all the items and throw it in the wash machine or just rinse it under the sink! It's a great size and has plenty of storage and pockets for all of her bathroom essentials! This shower caddy was very handy and able to fit all of my toiletries easily. The compartments on the side are also nice for holding smaller things that I don’t want to get soaked, like my hairbrush, toothbrush, etc. My only complaint is that it doesn’t drain very well if water collects in the bottom because it doesn’t have any holes, and I usually have to hold it sideways to let the excess water run out.
