I could of gotten a L, but decided on the M for a bit less fabric...I could of gotten a S and been just as happy. First of all, I'm very skeptical when I order clothing from Amazon because I've been deceived several times with attractive photos and then what I receive is anything but that. However, I decided to give this sweater a try after carefully reading reviews that were good, and the return policy is easy. This sweater is soft, thick enough to keep warm, loose enough to wear a shirt underneath, and cropped for high-rise pants. It feels well made, and will be easy to take care of. I wash and hang dry most things that I wear for work, so I will do the same for this sweater. Just to prove my point, I buy a lot of clothes from LOFT, and I love cardigan sweaters. This sweater, had it been for sale at LOFT, would have definitely been a must-buy. For reference, I am 5'9", 145 pounds. My standard size is Medium; however, I went with the recommended sizing of Large and I think that was a good choice because I don't like tight sweaters that don't fit nicely over shirts. I ordered the light blue and it is just as shown in the photo. I will be ordering a few more colors! I noticed people commenting on the pockets being odd...I kind of agree. I do not think they are a deal-breaker, though. They don't impede on the look. So, that is my take on this. If you want a cropped, soft, warm sweater this is a great option. ... show more

I was skeptical but I love this cardigan. You can dress it up or down. It’s soft and gas pockets on both sides. The buttons are very nice, the pattern is sharp and the length is just right. Well worth the price.

these shrink wrapped shipping methods are nearly ruining the clothes. This sweater is super cute and the fit is great but it came out of the shrink wrapped looking like it had been through a grinder.
