The belt was a good price so took a chance and am not disappointed at all with my purchase. The buckle has a very smooth ratcheting system for perfect fit, is not stiff, and has a good color. The belt comes in several colors so a good deal if needing several to coordinate.

I was not sure what to expect but it works, fits, and adjusts very well. I don't care how fancy a belt looks, I just want to hold my pants up. It looks good, buckle seems solid and the belt is comfortable. It remains to be seen how long it will last. No 5th star until I wear them for awhile. This is a well made easy to use and highly adjustable belt. It is thick and sturdy almost to the point of being like a gun belt, but still looks stylish and has flexibility to move. I absolutely love the ratcheting system it allows me to adjust in increments of a quarter inch which is really nice when you go from standing to sitting. Recently this belt was on sale and so I grabbed another one I can't say enough about how much I like this belt it's just a great product. ... show more

Let me preface this by saying a couple things. 1)I've only had this belt for a couple weeks, so I'm not sure on long term durability. 2) I'm a large male, 6'3" 290lbs, who is losing weight, so this information is based on a softer body type. That being said, this may be the best belt I've ever had. My first love, the buckle apparatus. Apparently I've been living in the 1500's. The ratcheting mechanism works incredible! I was concerned that I would inadvertently bump the lever that allows the buckle to release, but no problems so far. Next, the quality of the belt itself seems to be very nice. I typically like a little bit wider belt, but this is a great width. Also, the leather is very "solid" feeling. I recently bought a belt from a big name brand man company, and although in-store it felt solid, within a couple weeks it started to separate into multiple layers, and began to stretch... I don't want a stretchy black leather belt. Finally, it comes with the belt and buckle piece separated. It has areas indicated on the back of the belt where you can cut excess length of the belt, so you can customize the tail length. I love this. I like a longer tail on my belt, so it allowed my personal preference with a ton of locking adjustability still present. My only question is how long this will last. But, judging just from the "eye test" and having the belt in my hands, it appears too be very sturdy. And the price is superb! ... show more

This my second belt just like this and I love them both. The first one was bought a few years ago and it has held up very well. This belt is made of strong leather but has marking in the inside to show where to cut, to make the belt fit the size you need. I.e. "32", "34", etc. The actual buckle goes on firm but that's good, it holds the belt in the bucket very well. These belts are highly recommended. ... show more
