As a collector of bracelets somewhere just over a hundred, I can honestly say I was very disappointed in this pair. The quality the look especially that flat bar between the lobster claw and the latch I have never seen on a quality real precious metal bracelet. There are so paper thin that twice taking off shirt and putting one on I almost ripped them right off my wrist. The color is as it should be and the fit is nice as well but the value just doesn't stand out. In fact as I said before that bar is a dead giveaway to someone like me and anyone else who knows quality jewelry. They came in a beautiful velvet pouch. I have showered with them on and they have not lost their coloring yet. They have not left any green rings around my wrist. But I'm sure in due time of daily wearing the metal they're made of will surely show through the glint of gold. And I'm also sure that in time they will show that telltale sign around my wrist, that they are not real. If you're just looking for something to throw on to go out for a Sunday dinner, then I think you would be fine with these. But if you're looking for a quality piece that you plan on wearing daily, I would say skip these and keep looking. I'm tall and thin, and they even look tiny on me. So if you have a thicker wrist, then I really would not recommend you waste your time or money, because I can just about guarantee you will be sending them back. It's never fun to give a bad review but unfortunately I highly depend on reviews for my purchases, and I only read the bad reviews looking for that same anomaly that usually will pop up. I have big wrists and I prefer the sizes for men's bracelets, compared to women's bracelets. I really wanted a paperclip bracelet and that was the main reason for ordering this set. The paperclip bracelet is very nicely made and looks good. It is not heavy but comes with a solid lobster clasp. I am very happy with this bracelet. If it's too big, you can clip the lobster clasp onto one of the paperclip chains, which looks cute. The rope chain bracelet, on the other hand, is just too shiny for me and just looks like cheap costume jewelry. But even without the second bracelet, this is a nice price for an everyday paperclip bracelet. ... show more
