These at the best gloves I've come across in a number of ways: heavier leather than others wirth a more robust feel (a bit stiff, as a result). Double-stitched with reinforcing across palm and pinkey with soft impact pads. Padded knuckle plate is separate from upper glove structure. Most importantly, finger knuckle and palm skid plates are made from a harder plastic material than others, which will encourage skidding over a hard stop. Touch screen pads on index fingers and thumbs are functional. This review was made on my phone while wearing the gloves. Large size feels snug, especially on the finger knuckles when making a fist (I normally wear large latex/nitrile gloves). I expect they will be a very comfortable fit after breaking in. Short velcro strap makes it fairly easy to take them on and off. Likely not very breathable, as construction is unvented leather. I expect these will be best suited for cooler weather, but probably not good for winter riding. ... show more

EDIT: After a full riding season, I found myself reverting to other moto gloves that I have. There's nothing wrong with these per se and I'd call them reasonable value for the money. I dunno, I just never "connected" with them. I stand by what I say below in the original review, but I just found them... uninspiring, maybe? Dropped to 4 stars. ORIGINAL: Super comfortable, perfect fit, reasonably rugged, nicely padded palm and well made. I was skeptical upon ordering as I don't have the best luck with moto gloves, but these are great at the price. Made in Pakistan, says a small label on the glove -- sounds good to me, as a Pakistani manufacturer made the best moto gloves I've ever used, from a small and now-defunct US-based outfit called Velocity Gear. So far so good, happy customer... will update if any surprises, pleasant or unpleasant, arise. ... show more

I was disappointed in the thickness after reading other reviews before purchasing, however they are thick enough, comfy and have armor where is matters. The touchscreen finger tips work great. They are better for cooler weather and block wind better than my other icon gloves. For the price I couldn't ask for more. I don't intend on testing the armor but if that happens I'll come back and update hahaha. ... show more

Fits great in that XL is actually XL - they don't skimp on leather. ALso, Seems to be real cow leather, quite soft but not too soft to protect hands. Brand new but still reasonably easy to curl for throttle grip. Sliders on palm and knuckle side. I bought 2 pairs of these. One Large and one XL. The large had nice finish quality, but the fingers were too short and the material is stiff and would limit my range of motion for using the controls on my motorcycle. The XL had long enough fingers, but had stitching defects, was missing the touch screen pads on the index fingers and fit too loose. This was good for the range of motion, but just felt like they would be slipping off my hands if I were riding. I like my gloves to fit pretty snug and these two sizes just didn't work for me. After using these everyday for 2 months I can safely say that these gloves beat many of the big brands in features and price. You have full armor and palm sliders which many pricier gloves lack. I have a pair of Rev'it Cayenne 2 that these are very comparable to at 1/6th the price. They are leather so therefore stretch over time so buy them a little snug. the gloves themselves are pretty good. i hope to not find out how good and durable they are in a crash but seen to be made quite well. the hard knuckles on the back do not seem to sit over my knuckles quite right, they are a little too close together, i normally wear small a little snug or medium a little loose for gloves, i ordered the small and the medium to see which would fit best and even the small are loose and a bit long in the fingers, they fit more like average medium size would fit ... show more

    • Unbelievably Great Gloves
Saw these winter gloves on Amazon for under $20 around Xmas time. I ordered them expecting them to be pretty much cheap junk. When I received them, they are the best winter gloves I've ever owned. The fit is perfect, made from Real Sheep Skin Leather, very supple, very well insulated, look great, feel great. I would put these up against ANY of the big brands that would easily charge you up to $200 for a beautiful pair of gloves like these. I immediately told my riding buddies about these gloves, although they had gone up like $3 bucks in as little as a week, Amazon sold probably 6-10 pair immediately, all of whom loved them also. After examination, there is NO Brand anywhere on these gloves, which probably explains the low cost. But who cares, I own four street bikes, two ATV's and two Dirt Bikes, have been riding motorcycles (street & dirt) for over 40 years, have racked up well over 500,000 miles on 2-wheels in my life and I KNOW MY GLOVES.
