My son is a size 3xl and this worked well for him. After reading tons of reviews on other cloaks, I'm glad I choose this one. Just thick enough. The arms are a bit long but we can make it work. The hood is pretty big but works well for halloween.

I'm 5'7" and got a Medium. If I was standing still, the cloak was maybe an inch or two from the ground. I did end up stepping on it a few times while wearing it. The cloak fits as expected. It is made of a very thin material that you can almost see through in bright light, but it is good enough for a budget-friendly costume. If the weather is very warm, then this cloak will probably be light enough to go well with a costume. If it is cold, don't expect this cloak to provide any warmth or even wind-breaking.
