My husband decided to keep, even though I could not get rid of all of the smell. When we returned crom our trip, with shows being inside luggage for two days, everything in the suitcase had to be washed to get the smell out. Two pair of shoes and both arrived the same way. I realize these items came from a huge, international company, but I hope the powers that be will take notice to these reviews and stop employees from smoking in the factory. I will return any other items received in this condition, regardless of look, or comfort. The shoes are beautiful and my husband said they are very comfortable. When I opened the bag that the box was inside, a horrible odor came out. It took me a couple of minutes to figure it out. I picked up the shoes, hoping they were okay, but they reek also. I'm going to try and air them out before our event next month, but if the smell does not come out, I will have no choice but to return. ... show more
