I installed this on my wife's bike to replace the stock seat. I noticed that it seems to be of very good quality while installing it. It installs easily on the rail-style seat post attachment. Great seat for a big guy like me. I’m 6’ 5” and about 275 lbs and it has the best support for long rides. Looks great on my 29” BMX bike

    • Annoying Assembly, but quite Comfy
My previous bike seat would get sore after only 30 or so minutes of riding. With this one, I don't mind sitting for long periods of time. It's comfortable and compliments the suspension of the bike by mitigating some of the bouncing. Assembly is 100% up to you. This product is ONLY the bike seat (and a wire frame that it's attached to, but I'm not sure what that's for). In my particular case I had to buy tools to disassemble my old seat from my bike, and put in a new clamping mechanism that worked with this one. I don't know if that's my particular bike, but either way it was cheap and I easy for me to learn how to do, just be careful if that sounds unachievable for you. ... show more

This is a great bike seat. I got it for my wife. She bought a new bike however the original seat is hard and comfortable to sit. She likes this bike seat a lot. As a senior “joy” biker, my trips tend to be less than 20 miles round trip. The limiting factor seems to be NOT my physical condition but my discomfort level – my butt gets sore! My 7 year old Trek bike came with a Bontrager seat. I have no idea what the specs are on this seat so I can’t compare the specs to the new “delta Comfort Seat”. The title is what made me want to try this bike seat. It has “closed cell memory foam for maximum pressure relief”. I’ve seen a lot of products containing memory foam in mattresses & pillows so I thought maybe this will help me ride farther. The little sample of memory foam on the package was very soft. Other features included “dual shock dampening system” which I was unable to evaluate as my bike has a shock in the saddle post. Also, it has a “convenient grab handle”. When I load my bike into the mini van I grab it by the front & rear frame posts, so I can’t comment on this feature. It mounted easily & fit perfectly in the clamp on my bike. PLEASE read the caution on the package especially if you aren’t comfortable maintaining your bike as an improper installation can cause injuries, etc. The seat looks well made & feels very sturdy. I'm not sure what the exterior seat material is but it provided a smooth sitting surface. I’ve taken several short (<10 miles) trips around the neighborhood. Unfortunately, I did not find it more comfortable than my original seat. I gave both seats the very unscientific test of the thumb squeeze & I didn’t feel much difference between the two. Maybe, the “delta” was slightly easier to compress. When I compared them side by side, my original seat is actually slightly wider than this seat. I’m not sure if this has any bearing on comfort or not. Needless to say I’m disappointed this seat didn’t help me. Maybe my butt is beyond help! ... show more

When biking, especially when I haven't been on the bike for a while my butt tends to hurt because the bike I got came with a pretty hard seat. This seat is MUCH more comfortable to sit on and ride with. I haven't done a ton of riding with it but as soon as I sit on it, there is a very noticeable difference in comfort. The padding on this seat is great! I ride a mountain bike and lately have not had it off road a whole lot but tend to ride flatter trails and sometimes paved roads. For that purpose, this seat is much more comfortable than the stock seat the bike came with. ... show more
