I have a 90lb yellow lab that is extremely food motivated. Recently he discovered that if he knocks over the kitchen garbage then he can get to all the goodies that smell oh so good to him. I have tried different methods to secure the garbage, bungie cords, baby proofing attachments but what finally did the trick was these velcro strips. And boy does he still try to knock it over! I came back to Aquapel this year after a multi-year break caused by a bad batch. The bad Aquapel was gooey as soon as I broke the applicator open. It was thick and sticky and while I immediately stopped and tried to get the goo off my windshield - it was VERY difficult such it put me off the product for several years. In the interim I tried a bunch of competitors like Rain X, Griot's Garage and the like - they don't last. So I re-tried Aquapel with EXCELLENT results. Easy application, not difficult to dry off, rain bubbles up like advertised don't even need wipers - and no problems. Time will tell whether I get the multi-month winter protection I crave as that - to me - is the Aquapel advantage over competitors. I'm not sure how to check your product for a bad batch - it's just not easy because you have to break the applicator and you don't have much product per applicator. I think best to be aware of potential bad product and start on a bottom corner where potential damage is limited. But - when it works, it works GREAT. ... show more

Hook and Loop is the name and not losing the remote is the game. Highly recommend using this for several things around the house. We used it to connect our remotes to the projector in order to stop losing them in the couch. I can think of a million other uses for this.
