    • Things I discovered in 6 months of using these Mellanni sheets (two sets, two beds).

Here are things that you would not perhaps know unless you owned these exact sheets for six months like we have: They are staying together well, no seams have split, no hanging threads. They are thin, so they take up very little room in the laundry hamper and in the washer and dryer when balled up. They are easily air dried on a rack or clothesline due to their thinness. If one likes the feel of freshly washed, crisp sheets, these are not going to be your favorites; even washed and dried, they are never crisp, stiff, tight, or any of those kinds of words. If one likes the feeling of soft sheets, silky, smooth, flowing, then these may be your favorites. They seem colorfast; we bought the gray color and I cannot say they are any dingier or less vibrant than the day we bought them. These microfiber-style, polyester sheets absolutely show oil stains more than cotton sheets, and it does not wash out. This may be particularly true of the darker colored sheet sets and pillowcases. If one uses body oils (e.g Neutrogena Body Oil), Vaselines, skin creams, hair gels, or eats potato chips in bed, you may not like how these sheets look after a few months. This bedding will have you believing that your spouse has ordered a bucket of KFC and ate it at a pajama party while you were at work; don't worry, your wife isn't having an affair with Col. Sanders...it's just the sheets. These sheets have not shrunk and still can be easily placed on the bed. Even the fitted Mellanni sheet with elastic corners, unlike my usual cotton shrinky-dink sheets, doesn't snap up into my kisser while I'm making the bed. Thanks, Mellanni! Hands down, best sheets I've ever owned. So backstory, I have a very very thick king size mattress. I've bought so many sheets that claim to be deep enough and they never are. I've tried using the straps to keep sheets on and it just never works. I took a risk on these after tons of positive reviews saying they fit deep mattresses, plus it was Prime day, so why not. It took a long time, in Amazon world at least, for me to actually get the sheets after I bought them. However, I love love love them. So soft, very cooling, and they are SO DEEP! I have so much extra space in the corners it's amazing. These sheets never slip off. I love them and will be buying more sets. Just buy them. Trust me. ... show more

These are comfy sheets. They’re not slick/slippery/shiny, not overly warm, not thick, not thin, just good normal sheets that are soft…honestly they make me not really think about them much when I’m in bed and I like that. Really happy we bought this set. Planning to buy one or two other colors. We got the gray and it’s a nice dark gray just like the picture. Color has held after washing. Extra deep pockets really hold on with plenty of room on our deep mattress, even after washing it hasn’t shrunk and is plenty deep. In fact it’s a little loose/roomy - but not coming off or anything. This is my second pair of sheets from Mellanni and I am just as pleased with these are the first pair. They are very cool at night and have a bit of a silky feel to them which is nice. Good stretch and easily fit a deep pocket mattress without pulling up on the sides compared to some other brands. I've had the first pair for several months now and they have held up great in use and in the wash. I expect these will do the same. ... show more

Love the feeling of these sheets, they are lightweight and so soft. We had a new kitten who had a UTI when we got these and she had some accidents on the bed so we washed them multiple times and they held up really well with no staining or changes in fabric. Definitely my favorite set of sheets. My only complaint is I wish they had deeper corners for the fitted sheet as they are always creeping up on our mattress. ... show more

I just washed and put these on the bed last night, so I'm not sure about staining or length of wear... But for the first night, these were soft, and not too hot but still cuddly! Sounds weird, but true! The are defiantly deep pocket. I normally get deep pocket, for the sole reason they wont pop off the bed while sleeping. These sheets are defiantly long enough to stay on the bed, (I have a pillow top, so it is thicker than normal mattress. The top sheet is also much longer than a normal sheet. Very nice set! These sheets are great! I had been wanting to replace my sheets for a while and finally decided to go for it when these went on sale. I was initially a little disappointed when I got them because I'm used to crisp sheets, but decided to give them a chance because they were cheap and the gray paisley pattern is really pretty. Wow, I'm so glad I kept them! First off, they machine wash and dry well. They also fit my very tall mattress and topper perfectly and they are the softest sheets I've ever had. Like, my mattress even somehow feels more comfortable because of the sheets?? I've been sleeping past my alarm because they're so comfortable. Also, I live in Texas and can confidently say that they are very breathable and not hot. If you're on the fence about buying these sheets, go for it! ... show more
