I hate leaving a star off because honestly it's a terrific book. I love the story and the illustrations-- it was a huge hit! But as one other person mentioned some books may come with a defect. Our last two pages, on both sides, don't snap out (they won't hold) and it was really frustrating for my toddler especially as the ending of the book. We had to put the book up and we'll reintroduce it when he's a little more patient and understanding. We absolutely love Poke A Dot books though and highly recommend for VPK kids working on motor skills and learning to count. ... show more

    • Nice book but very heavy
It's a nice book. My baby enjoys pushing the buttons. However I bought this as an activity for a plane ride but it's very heavy and not worth packing.

Love these books! They kept my 1 year old busy for a good 30 mins she’s now two and still is entertained by them! We like the ones with multiple pops per page and have several of these books!

    • Love the Story but...
The story is so stinking cute! The kids want it over and over. I enjoy that it encourages counting and has a math element plus the ELA skills from the song. I have another one of these books that is a few years old but this one had a few of the bubbles that don't stay popped so when you turn the page you can't pop it back. I ordered a replacement but it's the same issue. Not the end of the world but annoying so just be aware. Overall, glad we bought it. ... show more

    • The best books for little ones!
My daughter absolutely loves pop books! The books are thick and seem to be able to handle quite a bit from little ones. Mine has been able to do some damage to the spine of the book but only after incessant use for almost 6 months. My daughter loves to push the pop buttons and honestly, its quite enjoyable as an adult. These keep my little one entertained for quite some time, which is really GREAT! Definitely love this book for developing fine motor skills. However, if your child likes to carry books and gets irate when they are too heavy… prepare for some angry outbursts. This book is quite heavy.

The book itself and pictures are great. This book has 10 dots that don’t work. As a gift for my 2 yr granddaughter, she’s disappointed as I am also.
