  • A Fantastic, heavy, hard- back book! LOVE it!!!
The media could not be loaded. I love that this book. It has the tactile popping, colorful but not crazy colors, so many different lessons and focuses. There is alphabet, reading, rhyming, counting, identifying! I have now bought several of this type of book, and it is strong enough to go more than one generation if a family takes care of it. ... show more

  • Amazing book for kids
As a speech therapist working with children primarily on the Autism Spectrum, I am always on the lookout for exciting books to target joint attention. This book checks off all my boxes: exciting for the kiddos, they love to pop the "dots", are learning ABCs and naming pictures. Definitely recommend!! ... show more

  • Toddlers love to Poke-a-Dot!
Both our 1 and 3 year old love this book. The interactive dots are responsive and engaging and the illustrations are cute as well. The book is quite large and heavy and the binding a bit fragile, but these are small gripes in comparison to the amount of fun our kids have reading this book with us. A great way to learn letters! ... show more

  • LOVE! Perfect for so many ages!
Such a fun and engaging book! My 1 year old loves it, but there are so many other things you could do with this all the way to kindergarten age! Great way to practice fine motor skills, letter identification, sounds, etc. Very durable pages, easy to turn for little fingers. Great illustrations and wonderful value! Will use this for many years to come. ... show more

  • Fun for little toddlers!
I bought this for my granddaughter, a little over one year old. She loves the pops! This book is a little larger and heavier. I also bought the red animal pop it book with the dog on the front. That one is a little easier for her to handle. Great product!

  • What a beautiful book
Title: Review of "Poke-a-Dot" "Poke-a-Dot" is an interactive baby book designed to engage and entertain your little ones. With its unique concept and vibrant illustrations, it delivers a fun sensory experience that stimulates fine motor skills and builds early cognitive skills. One of the standout features of the book is its emphasis on interactivity. Each page contains multiple pokeable dots, which provide a satisfying popping sound when pressed. This tactile element helps babies and toddlers explore cause-and-effect relationships while engaging them with the book for extended periods. The illustrations are visually appealing, featuring colorful and cheerful images that capture the attention of young readers. The book covers various themes such as animals, vehicles, and more, ensuring a diverse reading experience. The size of the book is perfect for little hands and pages are sturdy enough to withstand frequent poking without tearing. The book's simplicity may be seen as both a pro and con. On one hand, its straightforward design allows babies to easily grasp the concept of poking the dots. However, some caregivers might find the repetitive nature of the book lacking in depth and variety. While the book is a standout option for babies and toddlers, it might lack appeal for older children. As their fine motor skills develop, they may grow out of the simplistic design and seek more complex narratives or interactive features. Therefore, this book is best suited for children in the 6 months to 2 years age range. On the downside, the book can be quite noisy. The popping sound from pressing the dots can become repetitive and overwhelming, especially when playing with the book for an extended period. It may be a good idea to use the book in controlled environments to prevent becoming irritating to both parents and child. In conclusion, "Poke-a-Dot" is a visually appealing interactive baby book that effectively engages and entertains young readers. Its sensory experience, combined with vibrant illustrations, makes it an excellent early educational tool. Although it might lack complexity for older children, it remains a worthwhile addition to any baby's reading collection. ... show more

  • Amazing choice for letter and sound recognition.
I have two older kids who are very into popits, so when my 3 year old discovered this book and realized it was like a fidget for him, he was absolutely in love! This book teaches letter recognition, letter sounds, capital and lowercase alphabet, all while adding the touch aspect, which allows the brain to absorb the things that they’re learning even more! I bought this book for him as a Christmas present, and have since gifted it to two other people The only downside is that the spine is not super durable. We had to use clear tape on the binding within the first month. ... show more
