With their oversize soft squishy heads and tiny little arms they are a bit cumbersome, but I manage to put on some daily epic renditions of old MacDonald that my son loves. He’s actually just starting to put his hand in them, still he prefers me to do the singing and acting much to his never ending joy. Good craftsmanship, everything stitched tightly nicely, good designs, no fear of anything coming loose or chewed off and easily washable- (light sink washing with cold water. I think that’s what they recommend I didn’t read the directions on washing). The box can also be used as a backdrop/stage but I just keep them laying around for an impromptu singalongs as needed. My wife and I were looking for a way to make learning new words more interactive and fun for our baby girl who is just barely over a year old. Flash cards and books have been really good at reinforcing her knowledge. Getting these puppets really allowed her to identify those same animals faster and easier since they were no longer just pictures but animated objects! We loved the quality of these puppets and even fit my XL size hands in them (required a few seconds more than my wife to slip on). My daughter at first was scared of the chicken and the cow but only took a handful of exposures for her to love them all the same. For my nephew who just turned 6months when we got them, he fell in love with all of them! We use these puppets to tell stories and educate my baby girl and nephews. We bought these adorable puppets for our 10 month old granddaughter. These are a great way to teach her animal names and sounds. She loves playing with them when we sing Old McDonald. These are very well made and so soft. They are a great value for the price. I would highly recommend them.
