    • These are great, but with one problem
I greatly appreciate these gloves. My arthritic thumbs prevented me from continuing to use standard weights that require full grasping, so I had given up doing biceps curls and triceps lifts. These weighted gloves are a wonderful product that let me continue exercising. The gloves can be used with just inserting 4 fingers and will be stabile on the backs of my hands. (I also use similar 1-pound gloves that I put on afterwards that fit in the palm, for a total of 2-1/2 or 3 pounds.) They stay on with no trouble. The only negative I've found is that the elastic finger holes are very, almost painfully, tight, and I'm relatively slight built. I don't know how someone with larger fingers will react to them. Otherwise, a really helpful and healthful product that has really improved my life! ... show more

I wanted a glove not those other things they sell. I didn't realize there is an opening between each finger and on the palm but they are not huge and actually nice for heat release. When I saw these on here, I knew they were not punching gloves, only meant to wear while you move your arms. I have looked these over and they seem very well constructed. My suspicion is people are punching with these and maybe doing fist pushups. If you want to punch get punching bag gloves!!! I will be very surprised if these fail prematurely using them as intended. My 5 pound Altus ankle weights are well over 10 years old and they are filled with removeable sand bags and a zippered pouch and velcro and are still going strong! My only concern is if the velcro will hold up, otherwise very well constructed in the seams and decent neoprene. When I first put them on, I was like, "This is a joke!", because they felt like they weighed nothing! I have had them on for over 30 minutes, even while typing this and my arms, wrists and hands are getting very fatigued! From health problems, I have trouble doing traditional exercising anymore and came up with this idea. I have to move, have to walk, so why not? From now on, I will wear my ankle weights and weighted gloves when I go errand running. IF these should wear out prematurely, I will be back to let you know! ... show more

The weight feels great but definitely too bulky at the wrist and the velcro keeps coming undone at the wrist as I'm punching.

I have extra big hands, and I tend to suffer soreness between the numb hole and the transition point to the pinky. It's a tight fit in that area for me, right at the base of my thumb over some time. It's not as heavy as I thought it'd be, but for its balance and comfort it's worth the trade. Adding wrist weights that are uncomfortable on these work great. I can even type with these. Large works seem to adapt well with smaller hands.
