    • Make sure you check the fit of your tripod bolt and DO NOT force it to fit. A small rubber washer will work fine.

Fits well on my Sony A9, and will provide better protection from wear on the lower edges of the camera. Easy access to the battery compartment. Looks nice and is actually genuine leather. It came with a nice leather strap. For the price, a very good fit and well designed. The only reason I gave 4 stars versus 5 is the depth of the tripod bolt. It has a short depth and therefore it doesn’t tighten completely and leaves the camera fit on a tripod or Ascent strap/wrist strap loose and wobbly. I was able to add a small inexpensive metal washer between the bottom of the camera so the fit is tight. That was a quick fix and I will switch to a rubber washer and glue it to the bottom of the case so it won’t fall off when swithing tripods or straps that connect to the bottom tripod mount. Again, for the price, well worth the inexpensive fix. ... show more

The leather feels cheap and rough but even worse is the fit. I have a Sony A7III, and while it fits on the bottom on the left side of the camera - the right side ( where the camera handle, shutter button, and other controls are located) there is a huge gap between the case causing the handling of the camera feel awful. ... show more

It was a little flimsy and did not feel good in my hand. I had had a Sony leather case for my Alpha A7RII, and I liked it. I guess that I was spoiled by quality.

Case is reasonably priced and offers good protection to camera body. The insert that screws into the tripod socket came out and is not very secure. Overall for the price it is very good, but I would be careful with the tripod socket.
