This set is great, and I would recommend to anyone. It's also inexpensive at just $15 dollars. Very happy so far with it. The only slightly negative thing I can say, is that sometimes the blocks don't stay tight enough, so they fall easier than say, legos. However - I understand this - the blocks are meant for small children so it's both easier to stack them, as it is for them to be taken apart. Just be aware that at 4 years old, they might want something more sturdy and precise - like legos. Pros: - Comes with a storage bag (sturdy, despite not being a plastic container and just a bag) - they are big blocks, this has quickly become our 2 year old's favorite toy. - They are easily stacked, our daughter has no problem at all stacking these - Fun. She loves it. There are basic instruction to mimic some animals (frog for example) but really, it's just an 80 piece set and you can do whatever you want with it. Our little one does little animals and goes "roar!!" or something on top of the wheels and pushes it around… Or just has fun pushing down every tower I build with her. - Good quality - it's not paint, much like lego, the entire plastic is that color. So it doesn't peel or anything of the like. - Vibrant colors Side note (a PRO as well) it comes with a base and wheels - I wasn't aware of this. This is great (you can't really take the wheels off once you put them in) as you can use any construction to make a car, or a moving building or random animal, and the toddler can push it around. Overall very happy with this, and our 2 year old absolutely loves it and has no problem stacking these in a tower a dozen or so pieces tall. And she'll happily push it down and watch it collapse too. Neutral - I wish they had a different color instead of the light blue. They have Red, yellow, green, blue and… light blue. It would have been awesome if the other blocks were purple. (or black or orange) This would enable the toy to be used to help her learn the colors - which it still does, since the colors are vibrant. But having 2 blues makes it harder, so a different color would have been appreciated. ... show more

These blocks are strong. Let me just start off by comparing them to “the other brand” of smaller bricks and pieces….. except these are much larger and they hurt JUST AS BAD when you step on them! My son, oh, he LOVES them. Builds little buildings and random stuff all day long with them. He plays with them in the living room watching TV. He plays with them in the kitchen, while having dinner, he even builds with them in the bathtub! That’s all wonderful. I’m so happy he loves these SO MUCH! However, that means, these little guys are hanging out ALL OVER MY HOUSE and I’m tripping and stepping on them every turn I take. If you can contain these little escape artists into one area, you don’t have to frequently frequent, these bad boys will keep your child occupied long enough for you to do, well, you know. Toddler wanted legos, but didn't want him to have choking hazards since the real legos are so small- enters these. These are awesome! He can stack it taller than him and loves playing with these for hours!

These do not hold to the other blocks well and just come right off so easily. I got a bad batch for sure. I have purchased two different bags at two different times throughout the years and have never experienced this before. Didn't even think of checking it and now out of return window. Update: I wrote this review early Friday morning, several hours later a delivery of new Mega Bloks came and these ones work as they are supposed to. The company must have seen my review and immediately made it right without my having to even ask. Excellent customer service! If you get a bad batch like me don't hesitate to reach out to them directly as the blocks are good quality so mines were just duds. ... show more

Great value and the blocks are colorful and catch my grandsons eyes. He likes to play with them but he throws them mostly right now except he enjoys me putting some together and he takes them apart . He isn’t quite old enough just yet to build but he’s getting there fast and really watches how . It’s great for hand dexterity. He’s already so intrigued by them I know he will soon love building ... show more
