We Love these blocks. It is safe for kids 3 and up. The durability is great, never broke. We had them almost 2 years and they are like brand new. It comes in a cute bag for storage. So no missing parts. Great for motor skills and educational for kids.

I gifted these to our twin 1-year-old girls for their birthday. At fourteen months (12 months adjusted), they are unable to build with them yet, but still really enjoy playing with them. They are great for teething on because they're solidly constructed and large enough to NOT be a choking concern. Twin B really loves to bang them together and listen to the sounds they make. And Twin A likes to take them out and put them back into the provided, reusable, zippered bag. I am confident they will be able to use them as intended to construct various builds soon. We had a set of these some years ago for our older two children who absolutely loved them. My husband and I loved encouraging design and construction in our older two girls, wanting them to have an early introduction to STEAM. As they got older, we transitioned to Duplos and are now old enough to enjoy Legos. However, even at 5.5 and 7 years old, they are excited to see Mega Bloks again and have been "playing with their sisters" quite a bit lately. The older children are kept busy and entertained and the younger ones can't fit them in their mouths while playing. These are sturdy, colorful blocks. There are 80 pieces in total. This is a great starter kit for toddlers. Improvements could be made to the reusable bag and the slanted blocks could be limited.

They seem really durable and study- sometimes with destructions they get crashed into and sent flying across the room and haven’t broken.
