Saw another review saying "The width was almost right (still too thin), but the length was super short. Granted, my son is 6'4", 170lbs. Even so, it would have been too short on an average adult" and had to chime in. I'm 6'3 260 lbs with broad shoulders (22"). I have no idea what they were on about. Maybe they received the wrong size. The XXXL still has plenty of room around the midsection, the bottom of the vest where it splits in a V perfectly hits the button on my jeans as I type this, and the shoulder seams pretty much line up where they should be on me. I can rotate my arms around with very little movement in the coat. I actually need to see a tailor to get the sleeves shortened by about 4"! In terms of the state of the coat when it arrived, there were a couple of stray threads that can be clipped. It came with two replacement buttons. There is no smell to it, and it is a very deep black, not a purple or greenish hue. Quite satisfied. ... show more

I got my teenaged 6' 150 pound son this jacket for a Halloween costume in a size medium. It is pretty roomy on him and I think he would be better with a small. He is slim with broad shoulders and the sleeves are a bit too long, the breadth across the chest and torso is several inches too wide. I would say it fits like a large. For the price and for a costume, it is decent quality. I will be reinforcing the buttons as they are 'barely' attached. Good that they also included extra buttons. I think for a few wears it will be just fine and if you're building a costume (he is Jareth) this is soo much better than buying the cheapo premade Jareth costume ... show more

Got this for a vampire costume for a halloween party a month in advanced. Due to some of the comments, I decided to try a larger size, but this was not necessary and the piece was actually quite large. With extra time available, I was able to return the product for a refund and purchase another in my regular soze, which fits almost perfectly. I am a 175lb, 6'3" Male and typically wear large sized shirts. The only issue is that the sleeves are still a little long (and I have rathe long arms, so this may be a concern if you have shorter arms).
