I bought this lift chair for my husband after he suffered a stroke last year. It is the best item I have bought for him. Husband is 6’ 1” tall and he uses this lift chair every day. The fabric is very soft and comfortable. The motor is very quiet. The massage feature is fantastic! The heat feature will be nice in the wintertime! It was also at a great price compared to the other lift chairs I have looked at this year. The only negative is the fabric doesn’t cover the motor at the back of the chair, but I still plan on saving up to buy me one as soon as possible. ... show more

Purchased this chair as a replacement for existing lift/recliner that was purchased locally and for twice the dollars. Chair was dying and could not wait 8 to 12 weeks for delivery of a new one. So took at chance buying on-line through Amazon. Pros: Delivery was earlier than scheduled. Expected in 10 days and arrived within 7. Easy to assemble. Appreciated the cords were already zip tied to the base, which helps avoid cords being tangled or disconnected. Color and size were as expected from photos. The foot rest extension is a nice touch. Heat feature actually generates a decent amount. Multi-choice massage settings also nice. Everything working well so far. Cons: Construction somewhat 'flimsy'. The arms can easily be jiggled. Assembly instructions could be a little more detailed. We have two extra end caps that we have yet to find where they were supposed to go. Having two remotes seems a bit much. There is one for the recline/lift feature and another for the heat/massage features. Shipment came in two boxes (which is noted in product details). They were badly punctured, torn, and really beat up. Luckily the chair parts themselves were not damaged. Overall, pleased with product and would recommend to others. ... show more

    • I am looking for help to get my Mom's chair replaced after only 2 months.

Update: The company replaced the chair that was not working correctly. They sent it out at no cost. We are great full for the service. Original review: My parents purchased matching his and hers lift chairs in May of 2023. They arrived on time and were easy to put together and seemed a good quality. Very nice looking. However, after only 2 months of use my Mom's chair tilts to 1 side when she reclines making the chair very uncomfortable. She is only 140 lb and they are in their 80's so the furniture is not treated rough. I messaged the seller through the Amazon site and I have now left 2 messages with the company. I hope they reach out to take care of their product. If you are considering purchasing I would recommend waiting to see if they stand behind their product. UPDATE 3: I have been in contact with the seller and Amazon about the issue of shipping and it is still unresolved. The company, Exacme, has refused to refund the shipping and waited to do so until after they received the chair. I contacted Amazon on 3 separate occassions and was given a bogus email address to submit my shipping receipt to for reimbursement. Lesson learned, never buy any large item that you cannot physically return yourself. UPDATE #2: After requesting a refund for this unit, the seller "approved" my return and sent a packing label. What they fail to mention is that the CONSUMER has to pay to have it shipped back! This chair is listed as being for elderly and disabled people so how does the seller expect such a person to rebox and ship it back? If I had known this important detail I would not have purchased. UPDATED REVIEW!!! I am updating my original review now that I have had this recliner a few weeks. I do NOT recommend this recliner. This chair has a lot of neat features and the material is nice but I do NOT recommend it. The foam inside has begun to break down in the leg area and I can feel the wood underneath. Also, the motor has become very loud when inclining or reclining. I am very concerned that it W will stop working and am currently in the process of returning it and will be shopping for a replacement. I have only had my new recliner for a few days but do like it so far. Shipping was incredibly fast (received 2 days sooner than anticipated), set up was a breeze, it's sturdy, and seems to be of good quality. The reason for 4 stars instead of five is because the massage is really a vibration that doesn't do much, the heat cannot be felt through a tshirt, and the chair is just long enough for me. The description lists it being good for a person between 5'1-5'9 but there is no way someone taller than 5'5 would fit without their feet hanging over the edge. I am 5'3 and have about 2 inches before my feet are past the extension. Also, anyone that may be plus size would have a difficult time fitting in the seat. The description states up to 350 pounds but I'm not sure that's accurate. I weigh around 170 and there is minimal room on either side. As I said, it's comfortable and sturdy and I'm sure I will enjoy it. I like that it inclines so those needing assistance to stand can get out of it. The motor is quiet and it's a benefit that you can stop reclining at any position you need. just wish the description was more accurate regarding the massage and heat because those are features I needed. ... show more

We ordered two medium size chairs. Perfect size for us. Assemble was easy enough. Comfortable, enough. Caution there is no heat regulator. It’s either on or off. We found setting the heat time for thirty minutes is enough. Any more then it becomes to hot. There is also some “play” in the footrest and backrest. Once in the recline position both will give a little. Also one chair when reclining will make a pop sound. As if it’s settling. Maybe we should have held out to do some in person shopping. ... show more
