I live in an apartment, so leaving it out in the sun wasn't an option for me, but I did unpackage it inside my apartment and let it unfold over the course of a few days. Mostly got to the correct shape, still had to do a little bit of wrestling with it to get the grills and fog lights transferred over and fitted properly but very much doable. The paint work is probably the most disappointing part, the color match was excellent, but there is a LOT of orange peel. Fortunately, the bumper it was replacing was in much worse shape overall, but the paint job certainly makes cut from ~5 feet away. For the price though, you really can't argue with it. Install took a while because I elected to removed the fender liners to get to everything easily, and I absolutely feel the price is outstanding. I was able to complete replacing an OE bumper with a freshly painted one that mostly looks good for about $400 (including purchase of mounting hardware. For a 15 year old car, this is a phenomenal option. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again. ... show more

I have been looking in junkyards and on Facebook marketplace to find a replacement bumper for 2008 335. Time wasted! This paint job was perfect. I’m going to install over holiday. I will buy again. You can’t beat this price when a body shop estimate starts at $2000!

I ordered a new bumper cover in Alpine White III for my 2006 BMW 325i. It arrived promptly, securely packaged, with the ends folded over. My biggest worry was that this folding would leave a crease that would damage the paint, but there was no damage at all. I left the bumper cover in the (very warm) garage, supported so that it would return to its proper shape. The bumper cover fits my car perfectly, the installation was pretty easy, and the paint finish is perfect. I didn't see any signs of dripping or run-off that other reviewers noted. Amazing buy. I needed to replace a damaged bumper on my E90 and found MBI Auto by chance. I'm more than happy that I purchased from MBI. After sending an email to the seller with my car color I waited for the new bumper to arrive. It was delivered earlier than anticipated and color was spot on exact to my factory color. The bumper was slightly bent at the corners to ensure proper handling for shipping. After unpacking I lightly waved a heat gun on low across the bent areas to release it for a better fit. The bumper was semi-easy to replace with the new MBI bumper. Took approximately an hour from start to finish. It looks GREAT! Thanks to MBI my 06 325i is back to looking almost like a show room beauty. Definitely recommend and if I need anything that MBI is selling in the future, I'd buy from them again. ... show more

I purchased this replacement front bumper cover for my BMW 328i, wanted to refresh the look of the car . The bumper was painted to match the vehicle, and was shipped/delivered quicker than expected. The bumper was essentially folded/rolled into a smaller shape to save on shipping costs. I knew this going in, but expected the product to still arrive in good shape. After delivery, I carefully unwrapped and moved the folded bumper into the sun so it could slowly return to form. After about an hour or two in the sun, the shape was restored and carried back inside. At first glance it appeared OK, so I proceeded to install. Installation went smoothly, and the bumper seemed to line up and fit rather well...pleasantly surprised. After installation, I moved the vehicle outside for a quick wash (the bumper ships with dusty coating). After a bath I immediately saw two defects that slipped by me initially...one area was obvious paint damage caused by the folding of the bumper. The shape is still somewhat deformed in this area, but not incredibly noticeable. The second area is simply poor paint quality, in the picture you can see the cratered "orange peel" of the paint surface. Again, this was overlooked initially. In all fairness I considered contacting the vendor to address the issue but opted out since I really didn't want the hassle of removing/returning/and re-installing another bumper. I'm sort of happy since it looks much better than the old bumper, but also a bit disappointed with the quality of the paint and quirky packaging of product. If you need an economical solution, this is probably your best bet...just keep expectations real. ... show more

This was a huge upgrade to what I had previously and it looks great! One issue I had was the paint was scratched and chipped in some areas. Again, much better than what I had on my car at the time. Also, there were missing holes to screw in the fog lights but that was easily fixed with a drill. The product came folded, as advertised and once left out in the sun was ready to install in about a half an hour. Overall, the price was fair and the product came in a timely manner with the correct paint code. If there weren't scratches and chips I would have given it 5 stars. ... show more

I was skeptic about the shippment option which is "folding" but Ive got e90 2006 bmw 325i and i didn't regret this purchase. The bumper came protected and once i was done with heating it up to it's designed shape or form, there were no signs of cracks, it was absolutely fine. Pros: 1. The paint job on this bumper matched my vehicle's paint perfectly as if it was original part 2. Good price compared to buying a primed bumper and then going to a body shop for a paint job. Cons: Takes a week or two before you get it, if you are in a hurry then this might be an issue for you but product quality wise its great. ... show more

First off, if you're wanting a show-ready piece, spend the money and have a bumper done up professionally. Yes, it's shipped folded up. No, the paint isn't perfect.
