Had to get this for work per my boss. Changing the date is pretty easy and I don't worry too much about getting ink on my fingers. It doesn't usually smear or anything. I've been using it a couple weeks now and I've had 1 instance where I managed to get it on my finger somehow. The color is vivid and the text is clear. I do like the product and I appreciate the associated re-inking accessories (drop ink refilled are superior to roller ball ones). The one quirk I will mention is that the stamp impression itself can fall off, so I would appreciate an improved design in the future.

I wish there was a wheel of some sort to use to change the date. You have to use your nail to wheel the month and date around. Don’t forget to push down on the bottom bar (as if you’re using the stamp) and then move the date around. You sometimes will get ink on your fingers when using.

I don't usually write reviews, especially negative reviews, but feel I have to regarding this item. I loved the clear example where 'Received' was in blue & the date was in red. However upon receiving the stamp, I immediately noticed how cheaply made it is. When I went to set the date, the months and numbers were hard to see (at least for me, a 70 yo). It got even harder once I realized that the red ink was leaking, getting on my fingers and the months and numbers. I don't know how I ordered 2, but this stamper is definitely over-priced. It is made VERY cheaply. So I threw them both in the trash and ordered a more sturdy-looking. Hope I won't be disappointed a second time. I HIGHLY do NOT recommend this stamper for the reasons I stated above. ... show more
