  • Great info & easy
Just the one technique of how to set the dials made the purchase worth while!

  • Great Picture Book Featuring Doctor Jo!!
I love Doctor Jo, and this is a well-illustrated book in which she aptly demonstrates methods of using a TENS unit. Although I could just peruse the book to see photos of her all day long, I also look at what is depicted for placement of electrodes in various positions on one's body. I was rather impressed with the illustrations and explanations used in the book. I would rate this book a "10" for having useful information, with steps to apply a TENS to achieve specific pain relief, including photos for placement of electrodes. I would love to have another book featuring Doctor Jo that would be twice or three times the length of this book, as it is well written and illustrated. This is a very fine book with outstanding content. ... show more

  • Dr. Jo's Book is Great!
I've owned a ten unit for a few years and just guessed where to put the stickies. It's nice to have Dr. Jo's book and know where to put them for optimum benefit. The whole book is very informative and I appreciate Dr. Jo taking the time to produce this book. She is a phenomenal physical therapist and has helped me over the years through her YouTube channel. Thank you Dr. Jo!! You are such a blessing!! ... show more

  • Finally! This is a very informative book on the use of Tens unit with placement of pads.
Dr Jo did it again! Not only are her videos helpful but now this book is exactly what I have been looking for. It is helpful with the actual placement of the electrode pads on your body for optimum benefit, a great deal of educational information is included, but most importantly, it allows anyone with chronic pain to greatly benefit without the use of medication. I would recommend this to everyone! ... show more

  • Excellent TENS book
A great book explaining the proper use of TENS & EMS units. Doctor Jo does a great job of explaining the rational behind it so the lay person can understand it. I highly recommend this book. Get it. You won’t be disappointed.

  • Good reference but found one error and paper and quality horrible (think newspaper)
They use sane picture for posterior hip oain as for gluteus medius placement. The gluteus medius is not where the pads were placed in this photo. Like totally different area. So either the photo is wrong or they meant to say gluteus maximus. Either ways it's a big error. Are there other errors that I haven't identified? This is newspaper quality paper. I would get a better result at my printer I live near ocean where it is humid... it has warped and I just got it today. ... show more
