DO NOT BUY THIS CARSEAT. It is cheaply made and expensive for what they’re giving you. My baby’s safety in a vehicle is a priority but it is not maxi cosi’s. The car seat unglued itself after one use. The day I delivered. My husband had to rush to buy another, so there we are, officially spending over $1200 because this one didn’t work and we had to rush and buy another one same day. Use at least part of this everyday. Car seat was easy to install. Easily clips into stroller base with the conversion clips. We use the bassinet for walks and it works well. Wheels are sturdy, good amount of storage.

*8/14 Update! Customer service at Maxi Cosi has corrected the situation, I must say I am completely thankful and surprised at how great they were with assisting me with my issue. They genuinely changed my mind regarding child safety. Although my car seat did have issues, they have exceeded my expectations in ensuring my child is safe in her car seat. (changing my stars to 5 just because customer service truly backed up there product). I purchased this stroller, car seat combo in February. I’ve always been a maxi Cosi customer. And am so disappointed with this product. The car seat completely came apart, literally had no idea my baby was in a car seat that was not safe. Spend the extra money to buy a reputable stroller. Bought this in the blue color and it’s gorgeous!! We have a similar Graco travel system and my review is based off that experience. Keep in my mind, I live in a tropical climate in Latin America, so this package traveled from FL overseas. We received the package in pristine condition and no visible damage to the box. Assembly was done by my husband in 30-45 min (and that was him taking his time to get to know the travel system) and was so straightforward and easy to do. Everything that clicks does so effortlessly. Switching from infant seat to bassinet is easy. The components are not heavy yet durable. The size is pleasant. Not bulky but does take some space. I would travel with this system on a plane. The stroller moves flawlessly. Locking the wheels requires a small tap and the front wheels can be locked too. Love the 5 ways to position the seats, my newborn fits perfectly in the infant seat with the provided padding (he weighs about 7 lbs). The base was installed in 5 minutes whereas and the infant seat clicks on and off easily. The graco system we have looks just like it but operationally was a headache. After one use of the graco, we decided to buy this system instead. The graco was bought second hand in mint condition. Love it. Love the color and easy to build. Feels smooth. The quality doesn’t seem fragile. Only thing is front right wheel gets sometimes stuck. Other then that it’s perfect.

I bought this because it was pure cosi and non flame resistant material. I also thought it would be safe because maxi cosi is such a big brand. The base feels so unsafe and we have looked everywhere and reinstalled it so many times to get it right. It’s just not super secure. The seat it self has come apart and we have only used it a handful of times with our two month old. We stay home as much as possible because it’s cold and flue season so almost no use and it’s coming part. The canopy comes off so you can wash it but it won’t stay on. I haven’t needed to wash it and it’s driving me nuts every time we use it it just pops off. Wish I would have just spent the money on a higher end car seat and stroller system. ... show more

My daughter just had a baby and got the Uppa Baby travel system. It was very pricey so I decided to get a cheaper system since I knew I'd be driving the baby around often enough to need it. I purchased the Maxi Cosi because it looks nice, and having seen it in stores it looked easy enough even though I had already determined that the Uppa Baby was definitely better quality. After just two days of using it, I'm frustrated. I practiced before adding the baby into the equation, and thought I had it all figured out, but every time I picked the carseat out of the stroller, the attachments stay with the carseat. Today when this happened, we were in a hurry and I was actually able to connect the carseat into the base with the adapters still connected. Bad move. Now I can't get the carseat out of the base at all. We ended up just carrying the baby in. If I hadn't thrown out the box, I would return it, but I'm stuck with it now. I guess I'll keep trying and hope not to break it while doing so, but I'm very disappointed with the system. Plus, the sun cover doesn't stay fully extended over the baby. One side seems to flop around a bit. If you can afford to splurge on a travel system, get a better one. ... show more
