Mavi brand jeans are my new favorite! I have been buying Silver brand and Lucky brand jeans for years, but stumbled upon Mavi jeans in a little store in Las Vegas last month. These jeans have a great feel to them, and are made a denim that has a little give to it for a relaxed feel. I am 6'6" with a 36" inseam, so there are not many jeans brands that carry my size, but Mavi has quite the selection. I have ordered two pairs since my accidental discovery, and they are all as good as the first pair. The wash has held it's color, and they did not change their fit or feel after a couple washings like some jeans do. I like that I can wear these jeans dressed up or dressed down. They look just as good with a nice blazer and suede shoes as they do with Nike's and a t-shirt. I have to say, that I have never gotten quite so many compliments with any other pair of jeans. I typically require either a 38 or a 40 waist, and in Mavi Jeans I find a 38 is perfect. I think that this is due to the 'give' in the fabric. If you are vacillating between sizes I would recommend that you go smaller rather than larger, but I would not go so far as to recommend ordering a size smaller than normal. The inseam length seems to be spot on, and lands right at the top of my shoes, which is exactly where a 36" usually lands on me. Excellent jeans but the smell of dye or something is very strong. Washed twice with deodorize detergent and still smell

    • Button falls off

Editing below review due to 3 of 5 jeans with button falling off. Seems a bit excessive, no? I love these jeans and probably have five pair, but two of the five had the buttons brake off. That’s a pretty important part of jeans. I love everything else though.

My husband had the same brand and style beans and he wore them so much he wore a hole in the butt. I used the tag to buy the exact match, same model and model number but for some reason these ones are longer than his original pair. I hang dry all my clothing besides socks, underwear and towels so I know that the shrinking in the dryer wasn’t the cause for the difference. I was not allowed to return them so I will have to give my hand at trying to hem them up for my husband. A little expensive to say “oh well, I’ll just thrift these ones...” ... show more

The size that you order, such in my case a 33. For some reason has a 33 tag on it but it is a 36. It’s not even comical how big they are. They’re also made in Egypt and if you know anything about Mavi they are made in turkey???????

Mavi jeans are the closest you can get to a tailored fit in a generic size. Other brands I find are too loose or baggy, therefore causing the jeans to seem sloppy or larger than what they are. I am 205pds and 73' and wear a 34/32.
