  • Brilliant!
Size: 10X42 Color: Gray/Orange
Excellent build quality, edge to edge sharpness, above average field of view. Highly recommend as top in class for value. 95% as good as an alpha glass binocular like Swarovski at 30% of the price. I got this as a gift for a family member who loves to go birdwatching but can be hard on her equipment and loses things. This is a great compromise. ... show more

  • Amazing Glass!
Size: 10X42 Color: Gray/Orange
I was stuck between a few other 10x42 binos ranging price from $1599-$1999 (Vortex and Swaro) and boy I’m glad I pulled the trigger on the Maven B1.2 10x42’s. I can’t believe how crisp and clear you can get them focused with the precise dial. This is a huge step for me coming from some Vortex Diamond Backs (which I thought were amazing for the price) but I’m sure glad I pulled the trigger on these. ... show more

  • Sweet surprise
Size: 8X42 Color: Gray/Orange
I consider myself something of a binoculars snob having cherished my Zeiss 7x42 Dialyts for many years. So I was nervous buying my spouse an expensive pair from a manufacturer I'd never heard of. These bins live up to the reviews and the price. These are 8x and my Zeisses are 7x so I expected some benefit, but they are as good as my Zeisses in low light conditions. I never expected that. The image is clear and bright. I was looking at a Nuttall's on my feeder. No big deal, but that black just popped. My spouse loves the fast focus and that they can focus very close. Without detailing everything I like about them, I'll just say this gift earned me big brownie points. ... show more

  • Maven B1 series is a very fine product.
Size: 10X42 Color: Gray/Orange
This time I ordered the 10x42 B1.2 from Amazon. Last Maven purchase I went directly to Maven for a larger pair but out of the B1 line-up. These 10x42's are just amazing. If you want a good pair with all the features like that of the much higher priced optics, you can't beat these. Many like Vortex, & like their performance too, one should take a look at Mavens and do a comparison. I know everybody's eyes are different, but for me I'm sold on Maven. I like Japanese made optics/glass, 99% of all my camera lenses are made in Japan. Same as these B1 series line. Hopefully it doesn't change as I will be looking for a new scope in the near future. ... show more

  • Excellent viewing in low light
Size: 8X42 Color: Gray/Orange
My only criticism is no good case is provided. If you spend $1K on optics, you expect a very good case to come with it. They send you a bag!

  • Excellent glass quality!
Size: 10X42 Color: Gray/Orange
These things are Phenominal!! Absolutely blow away the Razor HD’s I had before. I live in the PNW so they see all weather types and I haven’t seen a trace of fog on the lenses. My only nit pick is the eye caps are a little too easy to twist in, I find myself having to adjust them every time they come out of the harness. ... show more

  • Very Disappointed
Size: 10X42 Color: Gray/Orange
It wasn't like the one that I viewed through at sportmans show. No color or contrast. My $300 pair of binoculars are better. They did have better edge to edge clarity. I was hoping that I could see better at low light but no, they were worst.

  • Tough to focus, sharp clear image once focused
Size: 10X42 Color: Gray/Orange
Very expensive binoculars with quality parts. I find myself using my Steiner binoculars far more because they are easier to focus and give the same image quality. Overall I would say save the money and buy less expensive binoculars.
