These sunglasses are amazingly light, courtesy of Maui Pure. Clarity is almost as good as regular glass lenses, and one would be hard pressed to find any practical difference between Pure and regular glass. There is a slight difference in light transmission between Pure and glass for the same tint; for instance, HCL Bronze in Maui Pure is not as dark as the regular glass version of HCL Bronze. The difference is subtle, but still noticeable. The frame is suitable for larger faces due to the width of the lens.     • Nice glasses but "rootbeer" frames look black when you're wearing them
I'm returning these because the rootbeer color completely disappears on your face. They simply looks like black frames. Otherwise, typical Maui Jim quality. Superlight and the design and construction is top notch.

Great sunglasses. This is my second pair of these sunglasses and I love them (My first pair was stolen). They are very light weight and the adjustable nose tabs provide a custom fit. The lenses are far superior to the Oakleys that I replaced and I can wear these all day with no problems.

I have been buying these exact sunglasses for years. I don't wear anything else. They are the only rose colored sunglasses I can find anymore that have the right rose color and protect my eyes well in outdoor activity.
