used these as bags for Christmas gift wrapping instead of trashed wrapping paper. Very worth it. They are your general gym bag quality. I may order again just to have some spare bags around. these cheap pull string bags have a ton more uses when you think about it for a minute. Take them with you as reusable easily washable shopping bags that the kids can help carry in. Use them as a gym bag. Take some with you in your luggage when you travel so that on the way back you can have your dirty clothes in the bags and your clean clothes folded up in your luggage and while your on your trip you can have cheap bags to carry your towel to the beach without covering it in sand and containing the sand and towel in the bag on the way back to the hotel or to hold suvineers out shopping. These worked great as birthday party favor bags. They are big enought to hold larger party prizes. This bag was only a dollar; I wasn't expecting much. I just needed a plain, red drawstring bag as part of a costume. Well, I got exactly what I expected so I wasn't disappointed or surprised. However, the bag is thin and a mildly translucent. It's just a plain old bag. It kind of reminds me of the fire safety bags hanging in the classrooms at my old high school.
